Another option would be to keep dangerous people locked up. Most of the people who have done mass shootings had enough on them already to be locked up instead of running around loose in the first place. And, if an investigation were to be done, it would be found that most of the "common sense" gun legislation proposed by Democrats would not have prevented most mass shootings. The media never seems to report that.

Rotten apples that fell from rotten trees. I took a job as a crane operator to avoid them all as well as I could.

This right here is at least part of the solution. If you do a crime with a gun, whether you fired it or not, you should get the maximum sentence plus a few more years added, regardless of your individual circumstances. With no parole. It's called deterrence, people.

With 330 million people we will unfortunately have our share of nutcases.

We also have all our ghetto culture crime in Democrat controlled shitholes.
