Has this happened in Manitoba before?

It happens almost every year and nobody feels sorry for these Lake shore hogs. These are not homes but are with no exception cottages owned by the usual overpaid civil servant clique whose official residence is in Winnipeg....else they would have to pay full taxes for these cottages.
Matter of fact most Manitobans laugh every time that happens.
Our prevailing winds howl from the Northwest down Lake Dauphin, Lake Manitoba and lake Winnipeg and when the ice finally melts the winds always piled up the ice like that. The only difference is that there were no cottages there and ordinary people used to have unhindered access to these shores until these dumb fucks built their cottage city there.
Now they are trying to sue Manitoba Hydro every time we have to open our floodway gates to divert water from the Assiniboine and Red River into these lakes


...which of course breaks the ice there and further North when all that water runs down the Nelson River and into the Hudson Bay...
The flee bag Hotel operators make a killing every year when we open these gates. Every enviro-freak with a camera is there to film "starving" polar bears when the ice gets pushed out for 2 or 3 days while the gates along the river system are open. As soon as the gates close the ice is back, the polar bears are gone and so are the Al Goracle activists.
But hey we don`t mind them because while they are in Churchill these dumb fucks get fleeced @ more than triple the going rates.
