Who won again?

No matter your political leanings. It can't be denied the heroic Wehrmacht soldiers fought courageously against overwhelming odds to rid Europe from atheist Bolshevism. ...

Why is it so hard to grasp that no nation should fight a war it does not fully intend to win?

Why are there "rule books" for war?

War is for winning. By whatever means.

Any nation that wages war according to "rules" is a nation in name only. One that deserves to be conquered.

Screw "nice".

Win.

It's difficult not to admire the resilience and resourcefulness of the German military's ability to continue fighting the invader armies until the very end of the war. ...

The valiant Wehrmacht army using the new blitzkrieg invasion technique was unstoppable at the beginning of the war.

Unfortunately, poor long term logistical planning by those in charge left the army short on food rations, petrol, ammunition, and winter weather gear. ...

I respectfully disagree. The best the German Wehrmacht had were the Fallschirmjaeger. They were the only German troops trained to fight as individuals if need be, but who's elan was unmatched. It was a law after the collapse of Germany that more than two fallschirm getting together was grounds for arrest.

As you know, the Japanese were far more dedicated than the Nazi's which is what necessitated the dropping of the two atomic bombs.

Anyone with an ounce of knowledge knows that the Nazi's simply did not leave wounded allies in the field alive. Unless they were a higher ranking officer, most were stabbed to death or shot.

Are you just a Troll?

They also committed some of the worst war crimes so I wouldn't call them 'professional'.

Not advocating war crimes but so did the Russians, Japanese, and U.S. committed atrocities. War is Hell.

The 88MM gun was also used in the Tiger and Panther tanks and probably others.
