Ryan’s mother is on Medicare? Well he would not do anything to harm his mother. Well, if she is 55 or older his plan will not effect his mother anyway. It will affect my children and it will cost them more and deliver less. It will not save Medicare. It will put medical decisions in the hands of private sector which is in the healthcare business for profit and not for delivering healthcare.
Ryan benefited from Social Security as it is when his father passed away when he was 16 and he received benefits as a child. But he want to privatize Social Security to save it by handing it over to Wall Street?

It already failed in Congress… so why are there more new plans being proposed that, instead of guaranteeing coverage for specific health care like Medicare does, would provide a voucher – a coupon, really – to each eligible person to buy private insurance? The voucher would be worth a flat dollar amount. There is no guarantee that someone would be able to buy insurance for that amount or that if insurance is available, the insurance would cover and pay for the same services as Medicare.
A voucher system is nothing like Medicare. You can’t save Medicare by eliminating it.

Yes, how obvious is that that Paul Ryan made sure his mother was not included in his own Medicare budget cuts plan, I noticed as I am 54!

The new Health Care bill is terrible for Seniors.
Got rid of Medicare Advantage.
Capped payments to Doctors and Hospitals, so that they will not accept Medicare.So now if you have cancer or any other illness and you can't find a Doctor who will be able to see you, you die.
Created a Health Care panel that tells Seniors that you can't get that extremely expensive pill to save your liver, because not enough Seniors are using that pill and that pill is way to expensive, you don't get that pill and you die.

What libs are afraid of is that people will someday be allowed to make their own decisions. I can understand someone being so afraid of making their own decisions that they can't do it. Naturally there must be some provision for them just as we make provisions for anyone who is mentally deficient. But for those who would prefer to control their own finances an alternative should be an option.
