Bachmann, Huntsman, Santorum not on Va. primary ballot | Richmond Times-Dispatch

I don't know about the rest of you--but this is something that makes one want to go HMMM>

Perry & Gingrich turn in thousands of signatures but were kicked out of Virginia's primary--and all the rest couldn't collect enough signatures to get on the ballot--COME-ON.

The state GOP will probably start going through Ron Paul's signatures--disqualify him--and then this state will turn into a Mitt Romney ballot---

All the candidates knew full well the election laws of the state of Virginia, they were also warned on November 15th to get busy or else by the State GOP, they totally failed with the managers of those campaigns to get out their volunteers and collect double what is required because a lot of people will sign those petitions and not be a registered voter. They were warned and failed to comply with Virginia's election law. This state law has been in effect for many election cycles, it's not a new law. It demonstrates the total lack of organization on these candidate's parts, it has absolutely nothing to do with the State GOP, they are just following their own election laws set in place by their own legislature.

Ron Paul and Mitt Romney have an organized team in place for all 50 states, they have a great ground game, the others do not. The State chair of the GOP in Virginia needs to go on national television and rip these candidates a new one, he is being criticized for following his own state's election laws. The whining needs to stop and it needs to stop now.

They could have easily collected the signatures, especially Newt Gingrich who resides and has resided in that state for the last 12 years was the heavy favorite. He was not organized in Virginia, did not have a good manager there and did not organize his volunteers to set outside the metro and collect double the signature count. Ron Paul and Mitt Romney were organized with an army of volunteers and they got it done. There's your difference. No conspiracy, just the facts on how it's done.

I agree with RW to an extent ( a Festivus miracle!!!), organization is part of the process. newt doesn't have one, for a guy who is so gifted with intellect, to overlook something so crucial tells you something about him as well.

Obviously the candidates ignored this warning on November 15th over a month ago, all they would have had to do is get some volunteers to stand outside the metro for a week and collect those signatures, the idiots did not get it done. You can bet your buck wheat that the state chair is mad as hell as all he is doing is following his state's election law. Good grief, stupid.
