We don't have a gun control problem...we have a criminal control problem. This guy who shot the Orlando Police Officer.....should have been in jail for 30 years.....and if he had been in prison for 30 years, at least 2 people would still be alive....
he had a history of violence and he had previous weapons charges...and was out walking the street.....and got an illegal gun.......
So much for background checks, magazine limits and any talk of registering guns...since as a felon he did not have to register his illegal guns because of the Haynes v. United States Supreme Court ruling......
Orlando police officer shot, killed; manhunt launched
Loyd previously spent four years in prison for battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence. He was sentenced to 27 months in prison in 2011 for possessing homemade weapons while in federal custody.
