Russia is getting its ass handed to them right now but that can change overnight.

The Russian Military is demoralized, the only units they can use anymore is their 'elite' forces like Paratroopers. And they're getting tired of being beat up all the time.

I would wager that at least 70% of the money is going into their pockets and their families and who knows what else.
Zelenskyy is a puppet. Who is in charge?

But NATO should have never tread so closely to Russia's borders either. You can only poke a bear so many times, put it in a corner for so long before it lashes back.

Putin invaded Ukraine so he could control it and because he perceived the US (NATO) as being weak. He invaded and annexed Georgia in '08, he invaded and annexed Crimea in '14.

He had the same, exact plans for Ukraine. But a funny thing happened on the way to commie nirvana. Ukrainians lived under communist Russia for 70 years and would rather die than do it again.
