VIDEO – Antifa Member Shot To Death After Drawing Down on Eugene, OR Cops in School

Charlie Landeros, aged old enough to know better, loved his far-left activism. He belonged to an armed Antifa group we’ve covered, training “oppressed peoples” in armed self-defense. And now he’s no longer with us after drawing down on two Eugene, Oregon police officers who attempted to arrest him at a Eugene middle school there.

Police believe the radical Antifa activist showed up at his daughter’s school on January 11 intending to pick her up. Cascade Middle School administrators, however, knew that he had recently lost custody of his child and called police to remove him from school property. What they didn’t know was Charlie had a gun on his hip along with a backpack full of loaded magazines and more 9mm ammunition.

When police arrived, Landeros claimed they had no jurisdiction at the school. The Eugene officers had a different take. And when Landeros failed to peacefully leave, things went south quickly for Mr. Antifa firearms instructor.

The Eugene Police Department has released video of the shooting:

Landeros belonged to the Civil Liberties Defense Center, a group that, according to its website:

…supports movements that seek to dismantle the political and economic structures at the root of social inequality and environmental destruction. We provide litigation, education, legal and strategic resources to strengthen and embolden their success.”

According to the Daily Emerald, Landeros also belonged to Community Armed Self-Defense (web site not active, Facebook page unavailable). They describe themselves as a “new liberatory and inclusive space for all oppressed peoples to learn about armed self-defense.”

Apparently their training in armed self-defense fell way short. After all, when Landeros accepted the room temperature challenge and drew down on the police, they dealt with his threat exactly as you’d expect. Landeros died at the scene.

No one knows why, in addition to the gun on his hip, that Landeros brought a backpack full of ammunition and loaded magazines to the school that day. Maybe Eugene police stopped a school massacre by an unhinged loser.

Either way, we have no doubt that Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Control and Gabby Giffords’ eponymous group will, of course, count Landeros’ death as another “school shooting” and yet another reason we should surrender our right to keep and bear arms. They’ll have to forgive us if we draw a different lesson from the incident and the inherent danger of “gun-free” zones.

The Truth About Guns ^

It appears that We have one less deviant to worry about him spreading his genes but more importantly......

They killed the right guy.

Why show up at a school with a backpack full of loaded magazines, otherwise, unless you were going to shoot the place up?

Why did he have a backpack full of ammo, at a school, except to take the lives of innocent children? Liberals love to kill when it furthers their agenda , as the ends justify the means...
His immature mind (it had to be for him to have done what he did) couldn't put the pieces together.

The gun and ammo MIGHT have been his routine EDC gear.

Going to his daughter's school with a loaded gun MIGHT have seemed the common sense move to make in order to protect her in case some thing violent were to occur.

Resisting Police MIGHT have been his normal response under every imaginable scenario, no matter what he might have done (these types can "never" see themselves clearly nor assess how THEY make most of their own problems and then THEY worsen what was already bad).

I can imagine this shooting becoming infamous.

It has all the elements that would attract lots of viewers of all kinds and lots of views.

Bad guy vs Cops. (Or, "Good guy vs Cops.")

Fatal shooting.

A crisis that the bad guys can use to inflame their members.

An instructional to concealed carriers on what NOT to do.

An example of a school security encounter with a student's armed and unruly Parent.

Gun grabbers vs 2nd Amendment advocates.

Critics of Police.

Example of immature, irrational Liberal/Leftist behavior validating our belief that the L's are LOONS.

The Left will use this to frighten other clueless L's and to amp them up so they will be apt to see every cop, all the time, as a threat to THEM. (No matter that this conclusion is bass ackwards to reality.)

Macabre humor.

The only thing that saddens me is the realization that the kid would have gotten the bad news at school that her dad was shot dead because he was stupidly childish.

Yeah, this will become huuuge, I would bet.

Ever hear of the 2nd amendment?

Is there anything in the 2nd amendment that says you can't carry ammo in a backpack?

When is the ONLY TIME you have heard a CIVILIAN,bringing a loaded gun, with a backpack full of ammo and loaded magazines to a school.... try a Search and see how many mass school SHOOTINGS FIT that description..... probably common in muzzieland!

Good riddance left wing piece of trash.

I have to agree. They should shoot them all.
Who is “they”? And if they “should” shoot them all... Why leave it up to the “they”, if there is a moral imperative to see these people shot?
Antifa is an anti-American group asserting their claim to represent justice but they are outlaws and instigators who have no reverence for the Constitution or what this country was founded on or what made it great.

They are a cancer on our society and are all losers who want to threaten our way of life.

They are the enemy and, legally or not, peaceably or not, they should be neutralized before their childish, violent exuberance causes any more upset in this country.

Antifa seems to be the politically correct action arm of the Communists, Jihadists and other radicals who would rather those nuts form the spear point for the chaos and violence the "ist" leaders foment behind the scenes.

In Memoriam: Charles (Charlie) Landeros, 1988-January 11, 2019

By Charles Denson|

January 12th, 2019|Categories: Cases, News|Tags: activist rights, Featured

“Do not let anyone quench your fire. Do not let them dismiss your love nor pacify your rage. My love, do not water yourself down.” – Love and Rage, poem by Charlie Landeros. #LoveAndRage4Charlie

Charles (Charlie) Landeros was a 30-year-old person who was shot and killed by unknown Eugene police officer(s) on the morning of January 11, 2019. Charlie was born in Hong Kong, and migrated with their*[1]family to the US, where Charlie was raised on Kalapuya land in Eugene, Oregon. Charlie attended Cascade Middle School, also where they were tragically killed yesterday, and graduated from Willamette High School, enlisted in the Army at age 17. Upon being honorably discharged from the military, they attended the University of Oregon. Charlie was most proud of being a parent to two daughters ages 10 and 12.

In addition to the children, Charlie Landeros leaves behind their partner, parents, a younger brother, and numerous other family members and friends. “The biggest thing is trying to figure out how to live without my older sibling, my lifelong support. Charlie has always been there for me when I needed them, but never again. I have accepted this, but I still don’t know how to go from here,” said Joesph Landeros, Charlie’s brother.

The details of this homicide are still largely unknown. What is known is that Charlie had recently enrolled their daughter at Cascade Middle school as the custodial parent. The school contacted Charlie regarding their child’s safety, and Charlie went to the school to ensure the safety of this child. We also know that Charlie was shot multiple times by Eugene Police Officer(s), several feet in front of the main entrance to the school.

The family of the deceased requests that the community recognize that deaths like Charlie’s are neither accidental or uncommon. “Charlie was the beating heart of every project they were involved in, the beating heart of our community,” said Ariel, Charlie’s partner. “We will need to learn how to regrow from that, because Charlie’s reach was so big.”

While people of color comprise 38.5 percent of the U.S. population, they make up 51.5 percent of those killed by police. In spite of this staggering statistic, there is no national database that police departments must submit a record to when they complete an investigation after an officer shoots a civilian.

Despite law enforcement’s willful ignorance, in the last several years there have been far too many headlines describing people of color being shot and killed by police. The lesson learned: the experience of dealing with police in America is different for whites and nonwhites. Charlie was of mixed Filipino and Mexican descent.

Unlike the investigation into the police shooting death of fellow veteran Brian Babb, the family demands that this investigation be transparent, unbiased and thorough.

Donations to fund the independent investigation into Charlie’s homicide by police can be made at: Donations doubled! and please note that your donation is in memory of Charlie Landeros.

Not unhappy the creep was dispatched, but I feel horribly sorry for his daughter at the school. It says they think he was there to pick her up (with a backpack full of ammo). The article says “he had recently lost custody of his child”...perhaps he was there to murder her and her classmates.... his twisted mind was trying to punish the mother....it has happened several times before!

"Despite law enforcement’s willful ignorance, in the last several years there have been far too many headlines describing people of color being shot and killed by police. Some eulogy for a violent Antifa screw-loose and I suppose the lesson to be taken from it is this man (who had lost custody of his daughter, don't forget) was shot by Eugene police for being of mixed Filipino-Mexican descent and a white man, in the same exact circumstances (Antifa, brings loaded gun and ammo to school, refuses to listen to cops who were called to remove this guy), would walk away from this confrontation with the cop's blessings.

"The family of the deceased requests that the community recognize that deaths like Charlie’s are neither accidental or uncommon."
It certainly wasn't accidental.
Nor uncommon for someone with a troubling psychological profile to begin with (Antifa) go out in a violent senseless rage killing his child and everyone all around.

It must be difficult being a conservative and having to take the moral high ground all the time. Probably change their acts 15 times a day.

All these school shootings started thanks to the Columbine mass shooting, by two atheist Darwin extremists who today would fit in perfectly with Antifa.

It must be difficult being a conservative and having to take the moral high ground all the time. Probably change their acts 15 times a day.

Just realize that Conservatives are mostly Right most of the time.

Not cut and dry right but mostly right most of the time ~ sounds like right half of the time.
"Most" is more than half.

Mainly Liberals would mistake this.
