When Suzanne Chase opened the letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs, she says she felt like she was in the twilight zone. The letter invited her husband Doug, a Vietnam vet, to set up an appointment with the local clinic, which he had requested in 2012.

Back then, they waited four months, and never heard anything back. That same year, he passed away.

Suzanne told WBZ-TV that, bearing in mind that the letter was 22 months late and forgetting the fact that her husband was dead, the note at the bottom of the letter was simply unbelievable.
