I heard an interview today on NPR with a former top NSA executive. He was describing the actual extent of the NSA hack accomplished by Shadow Brokers and to say it was horrific and earth shaking would actually be understating what he reported. He did not necessarily say that, but he reported that the stolen cyber weapons could penetrate any security system.

The NSA supposedly still has no idea who they are, where they are or how they got their hot little hands on the codes, all we know is that they are out there. It was NPR so, of course, they said "Russia! Russia! Russia!"

It would be embarrassing - to say the least- were the Navy to admit that the computer systems aboard 2 ships were hacked and turned into drifting zombies where the crew was incapable of taking control back. I never believed the "human error" cover story because, well, it's just unbelievable. When I heard what Shadow Brokers stole, the 2 events connected themselves.
