US draconian tax rules

I was born in the USA, but never lived there. Not long after my birth parents migrated to Dubai, where I live and work till now. But surely, many of my relatives continue to live in the USA and I've often visited them, being proud of my US citizenship. But the new US anti-tax evasion legislation, known as FATCA (iexpats. com/fatca-makes-us-expats-), forced me to think of renouncing my US citizenship. Why?
I was very angry to learn that soon I'll have not only to pay US taxes on my income here. The US tax specialists will be in a position to get the whole information about my income and bank accounts from local financial institutions! Moreover, my today's home country doesn't offer me any tax advantages. Thus, I'll have to pay US and local taxes! It's too much for me. But as a law-abiding person I do not want to have any tax problems here, as well as, to be forced to pay penalties if my bank gets accused by the US because of me! That is why I've decided to get rid of my US citizenship as fast as possible!
But I was refused to turn in my US passport in order to travel to the USA on a tourist visa. And I have lots of my friends from other countries in similar situation! Well, surely, the White House is greatly interested in the money of such Americans overseas. And the US citizenship becomes a real anathema for us, US expats, now!

Well you've never lived here so why give a damn about US citizenship?

Renounce it and be done with it.

More info please.

--How old were you when you moved away from the US?
--Are your parents American?
--Do you have a social security number?
--If you do have a social security number what is it along with your home address, phone number, and mother's maiden name?
***Just kidding about that last one !***
--Even if you've never lived here do you earn any income from this country in any way?
--Do you vote in any of our elections?

If you've never lived here, you don't vote here, and don't earn any income here you shouldn't have a problem with either the State Department or the IRS as far as renouncing your citizenship.
