Unprecedented Glacier Loss

In 1794 Vancouver charted the location of Glacier Bay glacier and its thickness of 3,900 feet. When John Muir went there in 1888 the glacier had receded 44 miles into the bay. Understand and grasp those years - 1794 to 1888.

Did you just read the title of the thread and post a knee jerk response?...did you read the post you are responding to?...was there anything at all there that might have led you to believe that I take any of the glacier loss warnings from warmer wackos seriously?
