Unions Ain't the Problem Here Republicans

Yup we do have our enemies in this global game of chess........
And I can tell you this. In fact I'll even agree with true Christians and I've heard some conservatives and republicans even make this point.

Free trade was a step to raise the standard of living for all people. So I think America will figure it out. In fact all those countries hopefully the workers are unionizing. I know many countries have unions cause my brothers job is negotiating with them.

Long story short we need to eliminate unfair breaks for importers and unfair tariff on American exporters.

I lost track. Another point is companies will now have us compete with other nations where before states competed for the business. Now companies can jump from mexico to India to Africa to china.

Any smart country not controlled by corporations wouldn't run things this way.
One thing I do know is there's always a give and take with international treaties, tariffs, etc which is why I highlighted the "totality". As for your claim that American (and many other countries) are controlled by corporations........ I'll take that with the mountain of salt and deodorizers that automatically precedes almost every conspiracy theory.
While you call it a theory they are conspiring against you.

Corporations have gone international big time. Pepsi and Ford are no longer American corporations.

I don't have all the answers but I don't think anyone believes trade is fair with countries like mexico and china. But try to tell mad scientist and his advice is for me to start with my city councilman. Lol
Okie dokie.

(Psst!!! I really don't give a shit....... ).
Well imagine you are not exceptional for a moment. Because we all know you're going to retire with millions. Imagine you're the average American today vs my union parents growing up. They made a great wage right out of highschool and saved a fortune. Now they have money a pension social security and medicare.

Compare that to the average American now. In debt, renting, huge collage loans, hasn't gotten a raise in years in fact took a step back, not saving a dime.

Fast forward to their retirement. There won't be any retirement and most will die broke.

Same thing the great depression produced. Why do you think we came up with unions and the new deal to begin with?

Anyways, I'm 44, home almost paid off, hundreds of thousands saved plus my parents are going to leave me $. So I'm not worried about it either. I don't want another economic crash like in 2007 though so I'm gonna speak up.
Speak up all you want, raise the roof if you want, I wish you the best of luck tilting with a soda straw at runaway Mac trucks.
Good luck stopping this;

Uummmm, their manufacturing costs are also much, much, much lower. Around $8 per hour in Mexico as opposed to an average $40 per hour in the US....... So it's a combination of tariffs and labor costs.
Why your next car could be made in Mexico - CBS News

LMAO.....ask me how hard I'm laughing?

Progressives are so f'ing DUH its beyond stoopid.......these people also think printing money and injecting it into the economy is a zero sum game where everything is hunkey dorey!!:2up::eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

Yup, Progressives are stupid, explain to me why you're just like them, aside from the political ideology differences.........

unions are not the problem?? tell that to the 30 million folks who saw their jobs driven off shore thanks to unions!!

Bet you're a idiot.
Where did I do anything but post a factual link and make a simple statement as to (the total reason), based on the article why manufactures are moving to Mexico? Guess that makes me a Republican in your mind...... :lmao:
I saw what you wrote about having no problem with moving to one of the Right-to-Work states and I said absolutely nothing about it because, surprise, surprise, I wasn't addressing that part of you post.
You can now return to your regularly scheduled stupidity.
I would move to Mexico too if I was a corporation who only cared about maximizing profits.

Did you see the latest? Casino workers going on strike. You can't send those jobs overseas. Maybe one day AI will take that job over, but until them, glad to see yet another group of organized workers standing up to corporations.

Auto unions, Casino's, Writers, teachers, Healthcare workers,

And there are plenty of strikes that are much lower profile, at companies few have heard of, where strikers number in the dozens, not the thousands.

Republicans say unions have outlived their usefulness? I think Republicans don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

Tell them! And then ask them where they landed after losing that union job. $15 hr is where they landed you fucking idiot.

And don't you blame the union workers? Republicans in the 2000's sure did. Said they were lazy and overpaid. Now you want to blame the union for lazy overpaid union workers jobs going overseas? Don't you see you waged war on these people? Bet they wish they had their union jobs back.

Some want union jobs done for less because they themselves believe the jobs should be done for less. Hypocritical way of thinking. Deny the business owners a workforce and they cave in like a house of cards. Everything for me none for the is their mantra.

This was from 2015.......... Talk about necroing......... I don't even give a shit any longer about the petty partisan bs you and your counterparts toss back and forth.

Republicans love to say it’s the unions fault corporations sent jobs to Mexico. No. American wages is why.

But now we see caregivers, casino workers, ups drivers are all striking. Can’t sent those jobs overseas. They can hire illegals or automate though. But they’ll do that anyways. Look at your supermarket. No human cashiers. Still, pay the workers you do have a wage they can live.

I don't want to lower wages in America to compete with mexico, just get rid of the unfair tariff that's hurting us.

I bet you're a Republican who won't stay on topic. You'll try to change the subject to unions.

Did you see the part where I said I would be okay if Ford moved their plants down to American southern states rather than Mexico but the reason Ford doesn't do that is because they would still be slapped with that 10 percent tariff. So basically I know now why Ford doesn't move down to Alabama or Mississippi to avoid union wages. I would be completely okay if Ford wanted to go down to a southern state because those southern workers would be employed and paying taxes and providing an income to their families and keeping the money in America.

You bet your sweet bippy we will. Wages are a manufactures biggest expense. If approved, these costs will be passed on to the car buyers, who are already seeing staggering price hikes on cars and trucks. A top-trim diesel duallie pickup will push the $100,000 barrier today.

Wage increases of about 40%

Wages are, for obvious reasons, the biggest sticking point in ongoing talks for a contract.

The UAW is pushing for a roughly 40% general wage increase for its members, over the length of a four-year contract, pointing to automakers' recent profits. Collectively, the three companies posted a profit of $21 billion in just the first half of this year.

So far, the companies have offered pay raises of approximately 20% — a jump from their opening bids, but still only half of what the union sees as adequate.

The pay hike demands are being driven in part by the success other unions, including at UPS and American Airlines, have had in getting similar increases this year.

The CEOs and vps should have thought about that when they gave themselves raises while giving us pay cuts. We’re fixing it. Don’t cry class warfare bitch.

My brother is a perfect example. Before bush he made $500k a year as a vp. Today he makes $1 million. That’s because labor didn’t have a seat at the table.

You don’t cry about my brothers wages and how it raises the costs. You defend his pay. So as a worker, fuck you

You know what I love? Most of you are ignorant white men. I was talking about guys like you to my brother yesterday. He says white men are screwed. He’s a vp in HR. If he was in school now he would not go into HR because they only want women and minorities. And board of directors? Forget about it if you’re a white man.

And you ignorant white men who are uneducated, are only worth $15 to the corporations and gop. If you’re educated, won’t matter. Your boss will be a black or woman. And they will be the ones deciding what you ignorant white men are worth. And according to you yourself, you ain’t worth much

/----/ 1. Good for your brother. 2. It's none of your business what a company pays its executives. 3. Why is your brother a successful executive and you're still a broke ass worker? 4. Does your brother realize you're such a whiny little bitch?

2. It’s none of your business if employees want to unionize.
This is what corporations want. They want it to be taboo to discuss what we make with each other. It’s better for employees to know what their do workers make.
3. My brother worked very hard, took on the tough assignments, showed up early, stayed late. Right place right time. He admits he hit the work lotto.
4. I make $100k a year in sales. That puts me in the top 18% bitch.
5. My brother knows I’m liberal. But hears me say things about liberals and tells me, Youre no liberal! That’s because I’m a moderate liberal. Not a left wing nut

You called yourself a worker, as in working on the loading dock or assembly line. I'm in sales too and make $100,000 + That is not being a worker. It's a profession. In the future, try to be more clear when you communicate. It will do wonders for your sales results.
And you admit that your brother is successful because of his hard work. I bet he says he won life's lottery just to deflect your class envy. It's like Warren Buffet saying he doesn't pay enough in taxes. It's just a ruse to deflect criticism from libtards like you.

I advocate for a big fat strong vibrant middle class. To have that, uneducated blue collar low skilled workers need to make more. Caregivers, casino workers, ups drivers. Are we talking about what's best for you and I or the people you want to vote for Trump? Be more clear. You'll do better in sales.

Yes my brother worked hard. Came early and stayed late. No he's not trying to deflect from class envy. He knows I don't like how corporate pay has gotten out of wack. But when it benefits my brother, I'm all for it. As a society, I say guys like him should only be making $500K a year not $1 million. It's hard for you to justify paying him what he makes. The only reason he does is because he and his bosses get to decide what they pay themselves. And the labor at his company doesn't have a seat at the table.

My brother could be considered a worker. He's an employee no?

Like me Warren Buffet doesn't cry when his taxes go up. And we don't advocate for raising poor people's taxes. Or making the argument that they don't pay any taxes. No shit. They make $20K a year. You want them to pay more so Warren can pay less?

You for some reason defend the rich. Either you are rich or a lap dog idiot.

/——/ Yet your brother takes the extra $$$$. He could donate 1/2 his money to charity or send it to the Treasury Department to pay down the debt, but no, he keeps it. What’s trooper.

I love stupid comments like that. Let me guess, because he owns 4 homes and believes in global warming he's a hypocrite?

Listen pal, I see how money has made him forget where he came from. I get how that happens. And I'm not saying I would turn down the raise too. I'm just saying when he and his bosses gave themselves those raises, they screwed the employees. They certainly didn't have a seat at the table during those discussions. This is why I'm pro union. He doesn't work for a union company so the employees there don't get a seat at the table.

Anyways, did you see my post earlier laughing at you white men? Because of Affirmative Action, in the future the HR department will be run by women. It's a department that companies don't mind handing over to women or blacks to run. So in the future it will be women and minorities who will be deciding how much your white asses are worth. And my brother says all the white guys are quitting because they don't like how the new black VP didn't give them the highest reviews and so their bonus' weren't what they were expecting. Whites losing their shit because a black boss tells them they aren't as good as the previous white boss told them they were. How fucking poetic.
