Unedited Acorn Video aired

wow, when did you Liberal men find looking at some strippers a bad thing.
you didn't seem to have a problem with Barny Frank and his boyfriend running a prostitution ring out of their house.

Who said looking at strippers is a "bad" thing? I'm not out preaching Bible and "fake family values" and then going to lesbian strippers. I just go to the strippers, but it's been awhile.

when nothing else, resort to the SAME OLE tired lines that a liberal spouts.
what the hell does that say about you, at least SOME people try to live by morals and values. are you saying liberals don't have any so they don't have to try?

I have morals and values. Just not fake ones like Republicans. "Do as I say and not as I do".

I think that was the Democrat-Progressive-Liberal-Lefty slogan you were quoting there, eh?

To recap:

O'Keefe and the attractive young Hannah Giles did a kind of amateur sting. They played pimp and ho, went to a few ACORN offices and pretended to be seeking mortgages to set up shop -- including, in some cases, the use of illegal alien minors to serve as prostitutes.

It looks like several ACORN employees took the bait and actively counseled the two on "how to" file fraudulent mortgage applications.

PROBLEM: when O'Keefe and Giles released the fruits of their labors in video format to the world, they did not acknowledge that they had engaged in some editing. That need not be a major problem. All actual news organizations edit. But if the editing STILTS the message being sent, it is not fair and it is not valid journalism.

It APPEARS that the edits done by O'Keefe were on the unfair and misleading side -- to some extent.

HERE is a link to several of the CALIFORNIA tapes (courtesy of that nut-job AG, former Governor, Jerry Brown): News & Alerts - California Dept. of Justice - Office of the Attorney General

OR, Mr. O'Keefe himself offers some of the full unedited tapes HERE: James O'Keefe - Big Government

My take on this is pretty straightforward. Editing improperly is piss-poor "journalism" and undercuts O'Keefe's otherwise solid claim to some cred. ON THE OTHER HAND, the ACORN workers did, by and large (but not universally) offer to assist or did provide some forms of assistance to a pimp and a ho (so they thought) in the prospective filing of fraudulent mortgage documents.

O'Keefe MIGHT come out with a small ethical/journalistic black eye. and to the extent he did a hack job of editing, he deserves it.

But ACORN still gets JUSTIFIABLY and VALIDLY EXPOSED for what their own employees were recorded saying. The context is still crystal clear -- poor editing job notwithstanding.

We here still haven't seen this "unedited tape" that was supposedly shown on the Maddow show.

until then I will hold off on making up my own mind, not take the word of a "source". which is what our wonderful media is now printing as THE REAL NEWS.

oh hell no, I'd rather poke my eyes out with a hot poker.
if it was so important, why didn't someone bring it over here?

Oops, you left out a part. The Hispanic guy they said "helped" them called the police right after they left. He told the police that a pimp and prostitute who were trying to "set up shop", had just left. That was what started the investigation against the young Republicans. They aired the edited video and the man lost his job, but hey, what do Republicans care? He was Hispanic. Probably an illegal alien. I hope he can sue.

Ooops, YOU are wrong AGAIN. I spoke (accurately) of "several" ACORN members. I specifically did NOT contend that ALL were equally culpable.

YOU, being the partisan mutant fucktard you always are, focus ONLY on the one or the few who did not willingly engage in discussions on "how to" file fraudulent applications to assist an ongoing illegal enterprise at that, involving children, moreover.

O'Keefe didn't fire the guy who at least concluded he should call the cops. Who did that whole "firing" thing, again, dipshit?

OMg, did you get all the "victims" thrown in all that. if Acorn was vindicated, why don't they REHIRE the poor Hispanic illegal alien. and if Acorn has been so wronged, why the hell aren't THEY SUEING?..
and maybe you can show us proof what party affiliation O'Keeffe and Giles claim they are? since you assume they are Republican.
good grief.:cuckoo:

Because ACORN doesn't exist anymore. You guys killed it, congrats. Thousands of low-income families no longer have access to help with housing and help with taxes.

Good. ACORN was a scumbag Alinsky-style bullshit organization dedicated to voter fraud on behalf of the socialist asswipes like the current President and dedicated to ripping off the productive portions of society -- uh -- I mean, dedicated to achieving a fuller measure of redistributive justice.

Fuck ACORN. And anybody who needs access to help with housing and help wth taxes can still get it. ACORN was not a sole provider. So, basically, as is so often the case, your post was pure bullshit. You freaking socialist jerkoffs
smiley-sex018.gif
are tiresome, irksome and annoying.
