President Obama only won about 32% of the Idaho vote in 2012 but-----but even Idahoans see the advantages of implementing Obamacare and-----and check it out, the major driver for Obamacare in Idaho is the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry.

"On Election Night, Bill McCarrel Jr. watched teary-eyed residents crowd into his historic bar, The Gathering Place, after President Barack Obama won a second term. His customers worried aloud about losing access to their guns and having to accept the federal health law that many revile as socialized medicine.

Like most people in this fiercely Republican state, McCarrel opposes Obamacare -- even though he's uninsured and can’t find affordable coverage as a result of his artificial hip and knees. But the former junior high principal is looking forward to shopping on the Obamacare online insurance exchange starting in October to see if he can get a plan he could afford.

<snip>

Blue Cross of Idaho has already launched a web site called GetcoveredIdaho.com to publicize the new exchange and plans to work with community groups, local colleges and the state’s library system to promote it. Spokeswoman Karen Early said that like residents in most states, Idahoans are confused about how the exchange will work.

If the exchange is successful, proponents -- including some Republican lawmakers and employers -- say it could help persuade skeptical lawmakers to expand Medicaid, the other central piece of Obamacare, expected to come up again next year.

Rep. Fred Wood, a retired emergency room physician who heads the Idaho House Health and Welfare Committee, says lawmakers came to the realization this spring they could no longer fight Obamacare. “The fact is, that gig is up and it’s going to happen, so let's make sure we do it our way, not someone else’s way,” he says."

Lucky for Idaho.

And really, I don't think anyone with a brain still believes President Obama is uh-comin fer their guns and their bibles. LOL

Where do they come up with these headlines. Desperation is one thing but the post has more holes than Wisconsin's biggest product. Here's a couple of quotes that the radicals rest their case on: "if the exchange is successful". That's a big "if". Here's another one "some republican lawmakers and employers say it could help persuade". There are enough qualifiers in that sentence to through out the whole premise.

Why would you say "big if", don't you believe in the free market? It would have been easier for the Obamacare challenged to understand, if the bill writers had used the term marketplace instead of exchange, but-----but I guess I was wrong for thinking you were smart enough to have known that. Again, why would you question whether the free market/competition works?

"The ObamaCare health insurance exchanges allow all Americans above the poverty line to be able to buy health insurance through providers (who meet the standards of ObamaCare) via an online market place (similar to how buying online car insurance works now).

Each health care provider will try to attract customers by providing affordable quality health care packages.

You will be able to compare coverage options using an online calculator to figure out which plan is right for you."
