after having had many otherwise great tunes played into the ground to the point where I never want to hear 'em again, I can understand where you're comin' from on this...

but, for me, "Satisfaction" is different...

I still have a clear memory of the first time I heard this tune...

June 1965... "Satisfaction" came up on the jukebox in the park pavilion while I was waiting in line to get into the municipal swimming pool...

I was 13 years old at the time... had never heard anything like it before... it was, for all intents and purposes, a life-changing experience...
