Trump's Ukraine Collusion

“Do us a favor, though,” the president said, according to a call summary released by the White House.

President Donald Trump asked Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to “do us a favor, though” immediately after Zelensky told Trump he was grateful for the military aid the U.S. provided to his country, according to a White House summary of a July 25 phone call between the two leaders.

That request — and Trump’s implied threat that U.S. military aid to Ukraine was at stake if Zelensky did not comply — has become central to Democrats’ push to impeach the president.

The “favor” Trump requested from Zelensky was twofold. First, Trump asked Ukraine to investigate a conspiracy theory that the Democratic National Committee servers Russia hacked in 2016 to aid Trump’s campaign were not actually hacked by Russia. Moments later, Trump asked that Ukraine open an investigation into his potential 2020 rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Biden’s son Hunter Biden. Trump also asked Zelensky to meet with Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who acts as Trump’s private consigliere in Ukraine, and to speak by phone with Attorney General William Barr to discuss the investigation.

The connection between the Zelensky’s mention of U.S. military aid and Trump’s request for “a favor” is clear in the summary the White House released Wednesday. The summary is a collection of notes and recollections of Situation Room duty officers and National Security Council policy staff.

Once again, Trump is committing COLLUSION in plain sight. What do you think?
So what? It's in our national interest to get to the bottom of the Biden Collusion scandal. Nations, threaten, coerce and incentivise other nations all the time, such is the currency of foreign relations.

What is a SERIOUS problem is the bribery that the Bidens appear to have engaged in, and Biden getting the prosecutor fired to protect his illegal scheme from exposure.

Once again, Trump is committing COLLUSION in plain sight. What do you think?
Well, not exactly.

In his phone call with Ukraine’s President Zelensky, President Trump asked for a favor. The favor was not to investigate Joe Biden. Rather, the favor was for Zelensky’s government to investigate Ukrainian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election:

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.
For three years, we have been told that investigating foreign interference in the 2016 election is of paramount importance. Now, it apparently is an impeachable offense to request assistance in investigating foreign interference.

Ukrainian meddling in the 2016 election was reported by this Politico article in January 2017:

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

Politico’s investigation found evidence of Ukrainian government involvement in the race that strains diplomatic protocol dictating that governments refrain from engaging in one another’s elections.

The Politico article goes on to identify a highly-paid consultant to the Democratic National Committee who is the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, who played a key role in propagating the Russia collusion hoax.

Along with the general topic of Ukrainian election meddling, President Trump mentioned Crowdstrike, the firm that investigated the intrusion into the DNC’s email server, and the report that that server somehow came to rest in Ukraine after the Democrats refused to turn it over to the FBI.

Trump's request for this favor from President Zelensky was in the US National Interests, Perfectly Appropriate, and we demand that Democrats impeach him for it, so we can ram it all down your throats before a huge national audience at the Senate Trial as the Election year kicks off.

Next time try to be a bit more skeptical when the Fake News Media subjects you to the latest coordinated effort that is supposed to make you hysterical over President Trump. My goodness, they have subjected you to this continuously for the last three years, running the same play on you over and over and over and over again, always in the end it turns to vapor when its time to produce facts.

Show some pride and next time tell them, "I'm not going to allow you to provoke hysteria until you name the crimes and produce your court room quality evidence that shows beyond a reasonable doubt and to a moral certainty, that Trump is in fact guilty of the crime you say he is."

I have been doing this the entire time, and nearly without fail they can't cite a statute, much less compelling quality evidence that establishes that he violated it.

Now go back out there and do better!

You can do it!
