Federal elections are the prevue of the federal government. Figures CA & NY don't know this. Dumbfucks.
So your day is not completely wasted...as usual........Learn something....(note numbers 2 and 4 below):
States may regulate candidate ballot access or write-in candidacies as part of their general regulatory power over federal, state or local elections.
States regulate candidate ballot access to further their interests in: ·
1. holding orderly elections with serious, rather than frivolous, contenders, ·
2. promoting electoral integrity ·
3. limiting voter confusion caused by lengthy ballots, ·
4. preventing fraud ·
5. enhancing political stability by increasing the likelihood that the winner receives a majority of the votes,
6. and · supporting finality by reducing the need for run-off elections.
A state may regulate both primary and general election ballot access and may set stricter standards for the general election because of the state’s legitimate interest in reserving the general election for major political struggles

Plenty of things converging to have him impeached. And even if that falls through, no way he'll be reelected in 2020.
Majority in US No Longer Thinks Trump Keeps His Promises
I've often wondered if a decent survey stating the question, "were the election held today...." ...how our orange charlatan would fare.
Depends...
Would someone be able to convince hillary to go for the Electoral votes instead of the popular?
If not, he would win again
Here's an issue that should warm the hearts of all those states' rights proponents.
Both California and New York are proposing state legislation that would REQUIRE for any candidate who wishes his or her name on a presidential ballot, to show tax returns as a requisite for candidacy.
No doubt there will be challenges in various courts over this requirement and (probably,) the issue of EC versus popular votes when electing a president will also arise as a contentious one.........Interesting !!!

Damn, been 24 hours since I had to use this video, but with the stupid liberals(redundant statement) on this site, I just keep dragging it out time and again. Here's an issue that should warm the hearts of all those states' rights proponents.

Sounds great! I don't think the Founding Fathers envisioned electricity and how it would change communications. They lived IN their time and thought that a guy on a fast horse with a satchel to hold a letter would be the only way to communicate and connect with their countrymen. (The interview with David McCullough on "60 Minutes" last Sunday was such an eye-opener.)
From Time interview: "
President Trump has expressed admiration for Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay, Douglas MacArthur and George Patton. What does that say about the type of leader he aspires to be?
He's said he does not read history, or presidential biographies, because, as he said, he has a mind that can reach beyond all that. That’s utter nonsense. That’s ego-centric illusion. To me, it’s as if we’ve put someone in the pilot seat who has never flown a plane or even read about how you do it. So we have to cope with it, by counteracting that, with young people coming along that realize that this is a lesson in how not to be a leader.""""

That's probably a 4th Amendment violation.
You gotta love the lefties, really you do, lol. Their whole Russia narrative dies out, so then they go back to taxes, and next week it will be something else.
