Oh, you mean the way it used to be before Trump changed the rules about applying in for asylum in a friendly nation. Trump removed Mexico from that list in 2017 which meant the asylum seekers had no other option than to make the journey. Now, Mexico is back on the friendly list and all they have to do is go a few miles inside of Mexico to the US Embassy there to apply. It's traditional, about 15% of the asylum seekers will be granted asylum regardless of where they apply. Trump created this problem as part of his "War on Terror" but will never own up to it.

We can solve this problem by building a wall along the entire border that would make it impossible for them the get in the US.

And I'm sick of you libs complaining when Trump tries to fix this. Having separate facilities for parents and children was a great way of deterring these immigration attempts.
