Trump had no idea that his son, Don Jr., his campaign chairman, Manafort, his son in law, Kushner, were meeting with Russians concerning information on Hillary Clinton.

Yet Trump knows and believes Putin over the US intelligence on Russian intervention

Trump had no idea his senior security adviser had conversations with the Russians concerning relief for sanctions before Trump was inaugurated yet he knows Kim Jong Un is a good guy.

He had no idea that Stone was in contact with Wikipedia on getting information on Clinton based on hacked emails by the Russian government.

You would hope our President would know more about the people working closest with him.

The moral of the story is, one can NOT trust Trump to be honest, about ANYTHING, period.

That's correct...Trump Tower was built where a Mob joint sat....Trump had a sitdown with two family bosses to work out the deal. It was built with Mob concrete, not steel. His Mob contacts remain to this day which is why Michael Cohen should be very careful crossing a street in NYC when he gets out of the can....everybody hates a rat but nobody hates a rat like the Mob hates a rat.

Cohen's life is over in any real sense. He is going around all dogfaced and hurt that his boss hates him now but for years he was a stereotypical fixer lawyer to an unscrupulous boss. If he gets offed I will not shed a single tear.
