Trump has managed to scare the hell out of conservative in congress who are trembling at the thought of facing constituents (Toomey of PA has just canceled HIS town hall meet) and send them hiding into their DC bunkers.

The demand by progressives and independents at town hall meetings are demanding that republicans DO THEIR JOB, investigate the Trumpster's ties to Russia, release his tax returns, keep their grubby fingers off of the ACA until they REALLY have something better (which for 7 years they haven't been able to do....just bitch), and stop giving tax cuts to their rich donors.

2018 is not that far away....and whereas democrats have lazily stayed away from voting at midterms, next year there will be a mass exodus of right wingers from congress.......and they'll have Trump to "thank" for that.

They gave a whole two working day notice and expected 5 congressmen form the Houston area to show up. My congressman was on their guest list, guess what missy, they never contacted his office to invite him. It wouldn't have mattered anyway because his schedule was locked in weeks ago.
