Caviezel isn't alone in that opinion and I personally, as a Christian, don't presume to judge who God calls to do whatever. I do know that again and again the Bible relates stories of how improbable, imperfect, sometimes unpleasant, even obnoxious (think the Apostle Paul) people have been called to do great things.

Does that apply to Donald Trump? I don't know. That's between him and God. But he certainly accomplished great things in his first term as President, and, if after all the massive crap Democrats and deep state have thrown at him in an unholy war to destroy him, he is President again I will have to believe God had a hand in it.

(What they have done and how they have done it is so indefensible, reprehensible, unholy, vile, evil, I cannot believe God is in any part of that.)

The Bible says all leaders are chosen of God, and yet Republicans only believe that when a Republican is elected. If a Democrat is elected, he is evil, worships Satan, and is trying to destroy the USA.

That's not how Bible study works. I read and study the Bible daily. That does not mean I can speak for God. I can cite what God has said, surely. Speak for Him? Never.

It is true that nothing happens outside of God's control. Did God select Trump, or just allow it because that's where we are in history? We can't know. And we shouldn't presume to know.
