Yes, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that his first, second and third concerns are himself, himself, and himself, in that order.
Oh. Trump tweeted something. Let's get outraged. Again.
Maybe it's just me, but shouldn't we be more concerned about the government employee who "pressed the wrong button" that created the false alarm? Are there more careless government employees likely to spread panic? Should something be done? Training, perhaps?
When the investigation into this incident is completed Trump will tweet again. They'll no doubt be more outrage over his tweet than over the results of the investigation.
I don't agree. Trump's tweets are a way he communicates. His style is brash. That doesn't mean he is a disconnected lunatic. You are letting your dislike for him cloud your reason.Oh. Trump tweeted something. Let's get outraged. Again.

those two points are not exclusive of each other. absolutely there needs to be a thorough investigation & people need to be held accountable, including the fact that vulnerability was just exposed to whoever is watching....sure as shit doesn't help; with all the hacking--- that's a real danger.
however...
we also have a lunitic that likes to spew b4 he thinks; whether it's calling the other dear leader, rocket man... which is blatantly antagonizing an already volitile situation... or when he's completely removed from reality via his delusional tweets that is a complete disconnect from what is happening. it's all related because everything he does or says ultimately effects all of us & the majority of it will never be good.
His priorities are a source of your endless speculation. You might consider another hobby. LOLHe is the gift that keeps giving. Where are his priorities ?

If you really believe "everything he does or says ultimately effects all of us & the majority of it will never be good" then you are the delusional one.
