Decade in the Red: Trump Tax Figures Show Over $1 Billion in Business Losses
The numbers show that in 1985, Mr. Trump reported losses of $46.1 million from his core businesses — largely casinos, hotels and retail space in apartment buildings. They continued to lose money every year, totaling $1.17 billion in losses for the decade.
In fact, year after year, Mr. Trump appears to have lost more money than nearly any other individual American taxpayer, The Times found when it compared his results with detailed information the I.R.S. compiles on an annual sampling of high-income earners. His core business losses in 1990 and 1991 — more than $250 million each year — were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years.
So? You have an article which claims Trump did this or that 40 years ago? Still wondering what it proves relevant to the topic of this thread much less his being president?
Have you researched what OTHER big companies have lost? Have you ever OWNED a business? RAN a business? And how many businesses have your candidates owned and ran? If Trump lost a billion dollars, which is not uncommon in mega-billion dollar corporations, he is wearing it very well. Bet you've never had a billion dollars to lose in the first place? Has Hillary? Obama?
LET'S FACE IT ANTONIO, YOU JUST HATE AND ENVY TRUMP BECAUSE HE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU on every level!
YOU HATE HIS:
- RICH LIFE
- BETTER LIVING
- BEAUTIFUL WIVES
- GORGEOUS CHILDREN
- And the fact that he throws away cigars worth more money than you!
Just FYI, 2019-40=1979
It's not his fault, math has a liberal bias.
You are still evading the question. You shitheads try it every time:
- Make wild, unchallenged, unverifiable claims.
- Refuse to back them up with credible info.
- Refuse to explain how it ties to the subject at hand.
- When pressed, resort to attacking the messenger because you cannot answer the question.
antontoo and myself have already provided you links to credible sources.
To WHAT? That Trump is a businessman? That sometimes businesses lose money? That markets all have their ups and downs? That you have NO IDEA how Trump has done during the last 20 years? Or that none of this has anything to do with this thread or Trump's ability to run the country?
Why don't you look at it this way: Not only was Obama a failure as a senator, he was a total bomb as a president and he has NO business experience, never created one job and the closest he ever came to working was as a social organizer in Chicago.
Hillary was certainly a business lady! How many billions is she worth? Where is her Clinton Foundation or Clinton Global Initiative today? What are they worth? And how has any of that worked out for any of their foreign investors or Haiti? No one but the Clintons made any money from that crap at all. Then she lost TWO tries at president as well, once to the aforementioned bum and the second time to that "terrible bum" Donald Trump.
The worse you whiny snowflakes try to make Trump out to be, the bleaker picture you paint for what a total ass Hillary Clinton really is.
