Trump: Rubio’s Gang of 8 Bill Granted Amnesty to Illegals Guilty of “Sex Offenses”

Rubio’s Deceptive Amnesty Ad

May 2013 Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) appears in a new television advertisement designed to promote the immigration amnesty bill currently being debated in Congress. The minute-long advertisement calls the proposal "conservative immigration reform" and attempts to make amnesty appealing to Republican voters. Partisan politics aside, the amnesty ad is misleading on a number of counts, outlined below.

Rubio’s Deceptive Amnesty Ad

A few weeks after Senator joined a bipartisan push for an immigration overhaul in 2013, he arrived alongside Senator Chuck Schumer at the executive dining room of News Corporation’s Manhattan headquarters for dinner.

Their mission was to persuade Rupert Murdoch, the owner of the media empire, and Roger Ailes, the chairman and chief executive of its Fox News division, to keep the network’s on-air personalities from savaging the legislation and give it a fighting chance at survival.

The dinner at News Corporation headquarters — which has not been previously reported — and the subsequent outreach to Mr. Limbaugh illustrate the degree to which Mr. Rubio served as the chief envoy to the conservative media for the group supporting the legislation. The bill would have provided a pathway to American citizenship for 11 million illegal immigrants along with measures to secure the borders and ensure that foreigners left the United States upon the expiration of their visas.

Marco ‘Amnesty’ Rubio

Rubio’s only accomplishment in Congress has been to betray the American people. His record on immigration and Obamatrade demonstrate that there is nothing Rubio will not say - and no lie Rubio will not tell - in order to deliver for his donors.

Marco Rubio is Chuck Schumer’s amnesty pitchman. Rubio was hired to shove amnesty through the Senate by putting his face on Obama's bill.

Rubio Launches 24-7 Misinformation Campaign

Rubio said the bill did not give illegal immigrants welfare – but it made them eligible for every welfare program. Rubio said it was a 13-year path to citizenship – but the first group of illegals got citizenship in 5 (and amnesty 'day one'). Rubio said the bill did not give amnesty to criminals, but ICE officers proclaimed: “[Rubio’s bill] drastically reduces the ability of ICE officers to do their jobs while providing legal status to convicted criminals including gang members, drunk drivers, and sex offenders.”
