How is it that someone who was born in Greece and lived nearly their entire life in the United States, who does not speak Arabic, end up getting deported to Iraq?
Jimmy Aldaoud spent his entire life in Detroit. He had diabetes and paranoid schizophrenia. Just over two months ago, he was deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to Iraq. He never was able to become a citizen, really, because he had mental health problems from his teenage years. Everybody else in his family became a U.S. citizen ... but he never did.

Aldaoud died on Tuesday in Baghdad, sleeping in the streets and died likely due to a lack of insulin.

Trump murdered him.

Good. Double good.

He has a criminal history going back years. He was arrested more than 20 times for everything from armed robbery to home invasions. There were TWO deportation orders outstanding and the bastard STILL broken into a garage and stole power tools.

If Trump murdered him then Trump is a bona fide hero. Too bad he caused so much misery before he died.

Thank you Trump. Please can we have some more.

Murder?? Let me take a swing at this.. DID YOU READ the post article??

People's evidence #1 -- From your link...

Immigration officials, though, paint Aldaoud as a repeat criminal who violated court orders. ICE officials in Detroit, in a statement to The Post, say he had 20 criminal convictions between 1998-2017, including several violent charges, and that he cut off a GPS device he was supposed to wear while on release from immigration custody.

Several violent charges.. Ignoring court orders.. Got a criminal record..

People's evidence #2 --- From your link...

Aldaoud was born in Greece after his family fled Iraq. Unlike the United States, Greece doesn’t recognize birthright citizenship, so Aldaoud was still considered an Iraqi citizen, even though he had never been there. The family moved to the United States in 1979, ICE officials said, settling in Michigan, where a sizable Chaldean community lives.

Not a US citizen.. And the US government is brain dead on immigration smarts. SO -- he's an Iraqi citizen officially..

*************************************

Not clear from the Post article....

1) Immigration status of OTHER family members.
2) Whether THEY all came over on the special VISAs we were writing during the US occupation of Iraq.. We wrote a LOT of them. Those folks were ALL eligible for naturalization because it was kinda an amnesty visa.

3) NOT Clear if he simply did not go thru naturalization because of his mental status. Maybe was incapable of doing so -- OR maybe ineligible for naturalization BECAUSE of criminal history...

Do YOU know the answer to answer to all this?? If not -- murder case against Trump dismissed. Maybe tomorrow I'll care enough to research this in REAL press reports. Not from the dysfunctional WashPost...

He never was able to become a citizen, really, because he had mental health problems from his teenage years. Everybody else in his family became a U.S. citizen ... but he never did.

Well there ya go.. That's the problem.. The family didn't have a way to get thru the citizenship test.. I'm FAIRLY CERTAIN -- a good lawyer could have fixed that problem if they were on special Iraq amnesty VISAs.. Family probably waited too long.. This guy grows up -- starts accumulating criminal record --- BOOM !!! Too late...

Think this would be different under any other Admin? Seems like no one in the WashPost offered a LEGAL CHALLENGE to the deportation..

You must expect efficiency, competence, and empathy from the Federal govt. There is none of that. THere's just the laws and the courts...

My bet is -- could have avoided if the family didn't wait until the kid HAD a criminal record....

He has never lived in Iraq. He is a US Citizen by living here since he's been 3.

These are the Christians you republicans bitched up a storm about.

The Trump administration has sought to deport hundreds of Iraqis who have lived in the U.S. for a long time, according to the ACLU. The removal orders impact Iraqi members of the Chaldean Catholic community, of which there is a large population in the Detroit metro area that included Aldaoud.

The ACLU and Chaldean Catholic community members say it’s too dangerous for them to be returned to Iraq, where they could be apprehended or killed by the so-called Islamic State. Chaldeans have faced violent persecution since the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.

“There’s a tremendous amount of anxiety in the community,” Martin Manna of the Chaldean Community Foundation told Politico. “Iraq’s not a safe place for many of the people who are being sent back.”

There is no such thing as automatically becoming a citizen just cause you lived here. He's not a citizen but he was certainly a violent criminal.

Please President Trump can we have some more.

ALDaoud is a case of a sick kid who slipped thru the cracks. The Chaldeans should have been more proactive in seeing to it that the
kid got the care he needed.--------very sad story

A career criminal. Looks like he was terrorizing Americans for a long time. If you seek refuge in America, you shouldn't force Americans to seek refuge from you by deporting your ungrateful ass.

Jimmy Aldaoud, 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Jimmy Aldaoud: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

“The likely cause of death was not being able to get his insulin. He is a diabetic,” Bajoka wrote. “He was forcefully deported to Iraq a couple of months ago. He was born in Greece and had never been to Iraq. He knew no one there. He did not speak Arabic.”

“He was a member of the Chaldean minority group,” he continued. “He was a paranoid schizophrenic. His mental health was the primary reason for his legal issues that led to his deportation.”

Hello. I'd 'suggest' the likely cause of HOMELESS Mr. Jimmy Aldaoud's mental illness was being introduced to TRAUMATIC, potentially life scarring childhood upbringing by an IRRESPONSIBLE mother who failed to place ABOVE ALL ELSE, the emotionally well being of the child she chose to create while she was experiencing persecution in her homeland.

Sounds to me like Oprah should have taken the money for one of those free cars she gives away, and paid to get the guy some help...

Or maybe just let him sneak into her home and stay!!!

The Washington Compost strikes again.
Let's all feel sorry for the life long criminal.
We need more of them, right?
More crazy individuals to soak up our social security, correct?

Left wingers never step up to support any victims of anything, they just whine about how it's 'Everybody Else's Job!!!' to Do Stuff. they have too many responsibilities as it is, what with keeping all the drug lords, gangbusters, and porn producers rolling in dough and then those concert tickets and the latest in dope addled fashions aren't cheap either, so it,s you known, Trump's Job. How many have stepped up to sponsor those poor 'immigrants', after all the noises they make about them not one of them has offered to personally sponsor a single one, not even their employers, not even Uncle Bernie With The Big Whooping Houses is putting any up, or taking care of some kid's hospital bills, that sot of thing. Pelosi could tear down the wall around her place to show solidarity n stuff, and put up a couple dozen easily, yet no action on that front either. The OBamas??? lol lol lol lol lol yeah sure .... their yacht trips and vacations alone would support hundreds.
