WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump said this weekend that he was nearly ready to unveil a plan to replace President Obama’s Affordable Care Act with “insurance for everybody.”

Mr. Trump, in an interview Saturday evening with The Washington Post, said that health care offered under his plan would come “in a much simplified form — much less expensive and much better.”

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Mr. Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”

Trump says things that he feels need to be said whether true or not.

Then later he decides whether to act on them or not.

That's classic behavior for a Wall Street CEO businessman/cheerleader.

Talk is cheap and they are good at talk.

In the case of Ryan and McConnell they do not give a rat's azz.

However Trump at least will decide if his own re-election in 2020 will depend on keeping any given promise or not.

Trump and Ryan now the elections of 2018 and 2020 realize in great part depend on how they handle this issue.

They used the Alt Right and Far Right, and as predicted, they are now reaching to the center.

Ah, socialism?

Republicans had a jolly time mocking Obama for saying that if you liked your existing policy you could keep it under Obamacare. Trump has gone way beyond that with his promise of better, cheaper coverage for everyone.Better, cheaper coverage for everyone is going to cost the government a helluva lot more money than Obamacare does. When Trump fails to deliver on his wild promise, the Democrats will never let it go and Trump's own supporters will figure out that the thrice-married Manhattan billionaire in his gold plated penthouse has conned them as a bunch of out-of-town suckers.
