President Trump capped off one of his worst days as president by lashing out at familiar targets, hours after two of his former confidants simultaneously were found guilty and pleaded guilty in federal criminal probes.

Trump's longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty on Tuesday in New York to violating campaign-finance law by arranging hush money payments for two women, saying he did so in coordination with Trump.

Minutes later in a Virginia courtroom, Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was convicted on eight counts of bank and tax fraud charges brought by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The president responded to the twin legal blows ahead of a campaign event in West Virginia, telling reporters the Manafort conviction was a "disgrace" that had "nothing to do with Russian collusion."

Trump said he feels "badly for both" Manafort and Cohen, but did not comment further on his former lawyer's guilty plea.

The president later sought to show he was unfazed by the stunning legal developments during the rally in Charleston, where he briefly touched on the news during his speech to supporters.

"Fake news and the Russian witch hunt. We've got a whole big combination. Where is the collusion? You know they're still looking for collusion. Where is the collusion? Find some collusion. We want to find the collusion," he said....

Trump is in full panic mode

So much for a witch hunt
His people are dropping like flies

Should a President be attacking the Justice system in defence of people who have pleaded guilty anyway ?

Its a bizarre state of affairs.

It's a "disgrace" to prosecute a man who evaded millions and millions in taxes? Why?

Trump just keeps repeating the same comments, over and over.

He is Head of State. He should uphold the rule of law and support law enforcement. He acts more and more like a gangster.

LMAO Doesn't sound like panic mode to me.

You, however, sound like panic mode. Panic to prove something that won't be proved.

Carry on dumbass.

Trump has totally lost it, and so has his base.

And Mueller's investigation isn't even finished, folks.

There are the statements to the Mueller investigation made by Flynn, Papodapolous, Cohen, McGahn, Gates and Comey that are still sealed.

When they're made public.....all hell is going to break loose.

Pretty laughable, Cohen pleaded guilty and yet the left thinks that makes President Trump guilty.

His Sheep base are still stuck on stupid by calling out Hillary to be locked up, when it's Trump's own people who are being locked up, and Trump himself being implicated in a federal crime. How pathetic is that?

Trump and his criminal activity have already been proven.

I wonder if Manafort is going to be more forthcoming now that he's facing up to 80 years in prison, another trial next month, and a likely retrial on 10 felony charges.

Cohen has already flipped, telling investigators that Trump knew about the meeting between Trump's campaign and the Russian operative to collect 'high level sources' information as part of the Russian government's efforts to aid Trump.

Manafort was at that meeting.......he's now far more motivated to tell Mueller what he knows.

Trump was implicated in the guilty plea. You must be from another planet to think this won't affect him?

Cohen plead guilty to crimes he confessed Trump directed him to commit and coordinated with him in their execution.

We have audio of Trump discussing the very payments that Trump has said he had no connection to and didn't know anything about.

And Trump has lied repeatedly on this topic trying to cover up his involvement.

I've seen this line from multiple Trumpies today. Rush or Hannity must have said it earlier today.

Trump was implicated in the guilty plea. You must be from another planet to think this won't affect him? Not to mention, some of the guilty pleas involve Trump telling him to commit the crimes. By virtue of Cohen's own guilty plea, he implicated Trump in the crime. Tell us again exactly how that wouldn't put Trump in legal jeopardy?

check this orange clown out....He claims he cares about the flag...but yet he dodges the draft, attacks veterans, justices....hires criminals, breaks the law and probably will issue pardons for those who broke the same law that he claims should be respected.....What a scum.
I lived in a country ruled by a dictator, and I said here that Trump has all the characteristics of a dictator...but honestly he is a lot worse, minus the killings and imprisonments of opponents which i think he wished he can do.
