Sorry bout that,

  1. Well, well, anyone with half a brain knows Maximum Security was ass raped.
  2. Just look at this political race, none of those in the clown car, has half a brain, chucked full with clowns this year.
  3. Only a half witted moron liberal thinks Max-Sec, cheated and did not win because of it.
  4. Its a crime to ass rape this horse in public.
  5. But those who had their bet placed did it gladly.
Regards,

The Jockey Club, a Thoroughbred industry organization, reported 493 horses in the USA died from racing-related injuries in 2018. Battuello said the total number of racehorse deaths, across all breeds, each year is about 2,000.

Battle of Midway’s fate helps illustrate the discrepancy.

The horse will not be included in the Jockey Club’s 2019 death count because he died after getting injured in training.

The Jockey Club tracks fatal injuries of Thoroughbreds that occur during an official race, as reported by veterinary officials, and includes horses that succumbed to a race-related injury within 72 hours after race day, according to the organization’s website.

This horse was one of 23 who died at Santa Anita and left many unanswered questions

the horse almost caused an accident in the race, but I do not blame the horse or the jockey. But rules are rules.

Rules are rules even on a muddy field
Trump plays golf, he should know better

I agree. The Stewards had no choice. When Maximum Security veered into the lane next to him he almost caused a pileup. It was clear to see in the tapes.

Country House was coming on like a house afire but he wouldn't have made it before MS.

MS is the first horse ever DQed at the Kentucky Derby and the Stewards made the correct decision.

President Trump is 100% correct as usual. As a high school Cross Country runner, a race in a certain space by nature is going block other runners out. TDS has now moved to horses. :p

The race should have been postponed.

There is nothing political about a horse race.

Been around the track basically my entire life. This is nothing new. Big events always attract the novace know it alls. This is no different. At least once a day you can be at the track and find disqualifications. That reason Max Security was disqualified is the most common reason.

Having said that, the KD is odd in that there are 21 freaking horses running in it. That, is unsafe and pretty ridiculous. Very rare you will see a 65 to 1 shot finish in the money, let alone win it.

Max Security and his jockey were the only ones without mud on their face. To me they could have and probably should have let it go, but the ruling by the letter was the correct one.

It is just in a 21 horse field, there is no way that is the first time an incident like that has happened in 145 years.

Now, that is going to be a theme every year the race is run. Won't matter anyway. The animal rights losers will eventually get the sport of kings banned.
