Trump is the real insider candidate -- we will all learn this in January 2017, and he makes none of the sweeping changes he promises to make.

There will be no mass deportations, there will be no wall with Mexico, there will be no clamping down on H1-B visas.

There will be no tariffs on Mexico or China.

There will be no deals made with American allies to make them pay for American troops stationed on bases in their territory.

Absolutely none of this will happen because Trump believes none of this himself.

Trump became a billionaire taking advantage of the status quo, and the status quo right now is American bases all over the world, paid for by the U.S. taxpayer, free trade treaties with scores of countries and more every day, and nearly unfettered legal and illegal immigration.

And that's because our economy depends on all these things.

American bases defend America's corporate interests in the world, and American military power is what makes sure that Americans who have invested overseas don't get screwed too badly by foreign governments. Our allies are doing us a favor by allowing us to station troops in their country, and they're not about to pay for the privilege.

Free trade has lifted all boats, everywhere in the world. Free trade allows every nation, and every territory within every nation, to concentrate on producing what goods and services it produces most efficiently and allow other nations and territories to sell it products it cannot produce efficiently. Also, a world of free trade means that every factory and business has a potential world-wide market. In a world of tariffs, artificial walls to trade are thrown up, and nations and territories are forced to produced goods and services that they are less efficient at producing, and they only have a limited market to sell their goods. This means less money for everyone, and every product is more expensive, meaning a lower standard of living, and more poverty and hunger.

Immigration brings in young people to America who are ambitious and work hard at jobs Americans sometimes don't want. Our birthrate is declining, and the young people can pay into social security to support the system. Illegal immigration corrupts the economy, by creating a gray labor market, but the added labor still helps businesses accomplish tasks that would be unprofitable if they were forced to hire more expensive legal workers. I am not saying that illegal immigration should be tolerated, but it must be understood that it's effects cannot be measured only by social costs like increased crime and welfare burdens. Most illegal aliens are gainfully employed, and therefore contribute to the wealth of our nation.

Donald Trump knows all this. He is a billionaire, and therefore has taken advantage of America's power in the world, free trade, and immigrant workers to make himself wealthy. He is not about to upset the apple cart. He is only saying what he is saying to get elected.

In other words, Donald Trump is a liar.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand is incompetent. She has failed in every important task she has attempted to do. She failed to get Hillarycare passed. She failed as a U.S. Senator, getting nothing important done. She bungled the job as Secretary of State, her incompetence leading directly to the disaster at Benghazi which got the American Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans killed. And then she lied to cover up her incompetence, not admitting that the terrorists she helped arm were the people who attacked and killed the Ambassador.

Hillary's entire career has been fueled by the fumes left over from her popular husband's career as President. Despite his many sexual and financial scandals, he was a popular President. He worked with a Republican Congress to reform welfare and immigration, got a tough crime bill passed, and otherwise pursued a centrist agenda. In other words, despite his sexual misadventures, Bill was a competent President.

Hillary is not competent. She is not popular. People don't like her, like they like Bill. Her voice is annoying and grating to the nerves. She is old and ugly and acts like a mean Mrs. Cratchit, scolding her husband for saying thanking his boss Ebeneezer Scrooge on Christmas. She avoids press conferences because she knows she can't answer questions about those emails, another example of gross incompetence.

The insiders in Washington, New York and Los Angeles don't want Hillary Clinton. They're giving her money because she's running a protection racket, they give money because they fear her, "Nice bank you have there, hate to see what would happen if we had to break it up." And because of fear, no serious Democratic politician ran against her, with only gadfly Bernie Sanders making a run everyone knew from the beginning would go nowhere.

So the insiders will go to Trump, hat in hand, and cut a deal. And he will make these deals, because he is an insider himself, and always was.

Ted Cruz didn't know how to play the game, because he really is an outsider. He is unwilling to cut the deals, make the compromises, sell out pieces of his soul, in order to be President. He never had a chance to begin with. The insiders hate him, far more than they ever hated Trump.

So I predict Trump will win, and he will prove to be a very placid President in the hands of the insiders who really run this country, the billionaires, the Wall Street banks, the Fortune 500 companies, the leadership of the Democratic and Republican parties, the media corporations like CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times. Our nation belongs to them, and they choose the President. We only live here.

And the insiders have chosen Trump, because Hillary Clinton is hated and feared, but also despised, for her sheer incompetence, but also her arrogance in actually thinking she'd be a good President, when she has failed at everything else.

Ted Cruz made his deal with Kasich which mean he is not as much of the outsider as you attempt to paint him as. Also the fact is Cruz once worked for George W. Bush, so he is part of the Establishment.

So as much as I agree Trump will not do any of the stuff he is promising the reality is Cruz is not the outsider either...

Well most of this is based on what can get through Congress and I doubt the far left or the establishment republican's will work with Trump on anything.

There’ll be no ‘president’ Trump.

Agreed, Trump is a liar, that fact’s been proven time and again, but he won’t be around come January 2017.

If it's Trump vs. Hillary, the question is will he go after Hillary on all the scandals, or will he hold off because he's afraid she will retaliate with dirt she has on him.

I'm betting on the latter. I have no doubt that Trump has done a bunch of things in his life that he is wouldn't want to get out, and Hillary will have her private detectives dig up all of them, ready to use.
