I don't think I'm telling most people (even you should know this) that the democrats rely on a coalition of labor, minorities, and well-educated voters to win elections. When one of the legs of the stool is missing, it makes it hard to win if not impossible. Hillary ran into a buzz saw in Obama (as did McCain). If Trump survives and makes it to the general election, all three legs will be firmly in place for Hillary since Trump has alienated everyone except the guy who grooms his toupees. As for the debates, there is no doubt Trump will have the most memorable lines from the contests but it's not a matter of memorization, it's a matter of sewing up your base. Trump has no base which is why I certainly hope you guys stay stuck on crazy and nominate that fool.
