The whole reason they tortured people is so they could create the intelligence they wanted.

They were not merely dupes they were creators of false evidence.

This Thread was Started by Intense to give it It's own Platform, rather than Divert from another Platform. Please Keep the Threads on Topic, it is unfair to the other Posters to Derail Threads.

Cali why is it you never have anything but insults on your lips?

Cali why is it you never have anything but insults on your lips?

Because you have nothing but stupid in your posts.

The topic is about an Iraqi informant who lied to us about Saddam having WMD. It is not about Gitmo, it is not about torture, it is about an informant who lied and the impact of his lies. You're usually really good at accusing people of lying.... so why are you not concerned about this guys lies? After all, his lies led to the Iraq fiasco. Does that not concern you?

5 Myths About Torture and Truth - washingtonpost.com

Torture does not work.

It has been known for decades that it produces bad intel.

The Bush team jumped right into torture as soon as they could so they could produce the intel they wanted so they could do what they wanted.

This thread is not about torture, moron. Go start yet another whine thread if you want to bitch about torture. Why are you so stupid?

Curveball didnt have to be tortured to say what they wanted him to say.

He was a known liar when they asked him the question.

Hell they probably told him what to say.

Curveball said what they wanted him to say.

He wasn't tortured, you fucking idiot. He wanted Saddam gone, so he lied to the US about Saddam having WMD. How can you be such a dumb fuck?

And who controled the intel by listening to known liars and torturing for wanted outcomes?

Try and keep up..... we did NOT torture anyone to get intell in the run up to Iraq.

Stupid girl.

This is not about torture. It's about one man. Focus, truthdon'tmatter, focus.

Here is what I said.

They sought the intell they wanted to see.

With turtore and using BAD informants liuke curveball who was a known liar trying to get what HE wanted.

Not for the first time, an actually interesting - and important - topic gets derailed by truthmatters and her fucking idiocy about torture.

This guy was not tortured. Why the hell do we allow stupid partisan hacks to derail an honest debate with her fucking lies?

Liar. You just want to derail the thread into yet another one of your fantasy 'facts'.

Waterboarding - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Waterboarding is a form of torture in which water is poured over the face of an immobilized captive, causing the individual to experience the sensation of drowning

That's not what your link says:

Waterboarding is a form of interrogation in which water is poured over the face of an immobilized captive, causing the individual to experience the sensation of drowning. It's standard modern use is in questioning targets that are trained to resist interrogation. It is commonly called torture by those who have not experienced it in the context of an intelligence operation.
