...In an earlier article in this journal, Espenshade, Chung, and Walling
(2004) examined the strength of admission preferences for underrepresented
minority students, athletes, and alumni children at three highly selective
private research universities in the United States. Using data from the Na-
tional Study of College Experience on 124,374 applications for admission
during the 1980s and the fall semesters of 1993 and 1997, they found that
elite universities give extra weight in admissions to candidates whose SAT
scores are above 1500, who are African American, and who are student
athletes.

A smaller, but nevertheless important, preference is extended to
Hispanic and legacy applicants. African-American applicants receive the
equivalent of 230 extra SAT points (on a 1600-point scale), and being
Hispanic is worth an additional 185 SAT points. Other things equal, re-
cruited athletes gain an admission bonus worth 200 points, while the pref-
erence for legacy candidates is worth 160 points. Asian-American applicants
face a loss equivalent to 50 SAT points.

The underrepresented minority advantage is greatest for African-American and Hispanic applicants whose SAT scores are in the 1200–1300 range, and not for applicants near the lower end of the SAT distribution as some have suggested (cf. Dugan et al., 1996)....

I didn't say that, but the difference is many Jews, Asians, and White Catholics pulled themselves up, by education, savings, and wise investments.

Those are largely from new arrivals of Asians coming from much poorer nations like China, India, or the Philippines, but they still manage to have murder rates much lower than Blacks, or Hispanics, and probably within a generation, or 2 will largely be successful.

Levitan produces data showing a strikingly higher proportion of the Asian ethnic sample (73%) were not born in the U.S. than any other broad group category--although naturalization rates also are higher. So that's a factor, as well as any proclivity for larger families--it's tough to grow up in the city and children are flags for poverty. Too, Levitan offers this significant observation: the overall Asian population appears more inclined to move to the suburbs as its wealth increases--thus leaving behind a larger percentage of poor among those still residing in New York City.

The news may shock you if you were living in a cave, but this spring an “Arts in NYC” course taught at CUNY Guttman College by James Case-Leal has crunched the numbers to demonstrate how white the top of the commercial art gallery pyramid truly is.

What the students found was that in the 2016–17 season, 80.5% of all artists at the top 45 New York galleries were white, though if the statistics are parsed to focus only on US artists, then the percentage climbs to 88.1%. In a country that’s 64% white, that’s a drastic difference.

Other shocking statistics include the lack of Native American artists and the huge disparity between the Hispanic population in the US and artists in New York galleries (16% in general population vs. 1.2% in top New York galleries)...

As I've said many times, liberals are the racists, segregationists, etc.

White Americans are 72% of the country. 64% if you exclude Hispanics. Blacks are 12.6%.

Poverty impacts blacks and Hispanics far more than whites, like 7% to 25%.

It's a matter of what they want to go in for. I'm sure in the NBA and NFL black people get a higher figure than US demographics. You have to take that plunge, potentially work towards something without success and without money to achieve a dream. Some people are in a position to be able to cope with such demands because their parents have the money to back them up. Others aren't.

Judging by Africa, than yes there's no evidence of Black equality.
