it made me sit and wonder, while Hillary was speaking, of all the backroom wheeling and dealing, and throat cutting that came to pass to get her to surrender her bid for the presidency and submit to taking this tidbit of leftovers the democrats forced her to swallow!

and she did it. she played along!

Silence, This team of people are IMHO is somewhat of a replay of the Clinton era Foreign policy disaster team. Most of these people if not all of them with a few exceptions have many issues that make them less than stellar and will revert the foreign policy of this country to isolationist position where we will run from terror states when the threat is too great and the political winds show too much negative impact. All you need do is look at our Gov. who has been appointed to this team to know that foreign policy and national security will be an exercise in futility. Her record as out Gov. has been a complete disaster in terms of security issues as well as many others and her appointment shows more of a choice based on political appearence rather than qualifications for the job. The nation has my deepest sympathy for her appointment , however on the positive side she will no longer be running our state which will be be a bonus. I will though remain hopeful that this team will prove me wrong and not place political will, polling data, and special interest above national security which was the norm for all of the 1990's.

i like gates' performance and i think it makes sense to keep him in place. i've heard good things about jones, but i don't know much about him yet. i think eric holder is a bad choice based on his record after 9/11.

the other 2 i have no opinion on, but i'm sure i'll grow to detest them in the fullness of time. j/k

i've heard that obama intends to make un amb cabinet level. strikes me as bullshit symbolism, the un is a joke and has been almost since its inception.

I certainly hope Hillary won't have to dodge more gunfire in the Balkans.

Gates(One of two good picks Bush made) and Jones are the only good picks in the group.

    You really are clueless.

Eight years of peace and prosperity was not a disaster.

Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld was a disaster.
