In pretty much any given week it's not hard to find several news stories that demonstrate the ill effects of a society where personal responsibility and accountability are all but defunct... where it's always someone elses fault... yadda yadda yadda.
This week we have:
1. A nutcase who blames the government for his lot in life shooting up a school board meeting in Florida.
2. A class action lawsuit being filed against McDonalds because bad parents don't know how to tell their kid's "no."
3. A disgruntled scientist not chosen for a job he really wanted, suing on the grounds that he was discriminated against based on his religion.
But honestly, it's not surprising to see this from people when the society that surrounds them somehow always finds a way to excuse failure by laying the blame elsewhere.
Tis the season to man the fuck up people!
