CNN called Florida 10 minutes early.Show me an exsmple of CNN calling a close state for a Republican.
And show me CNN calling a state for a Republican before polls closed. Had CNN waited the might not have looked so stupidly partisan by calling Florida incorrectly.
That they called it a second early was an attempt to suppress the vote. Why didn't people in line know it?CNN called Florida 10 minutes early.
No one in line to vote knew that and ten minutes before the polls closed, if they weren’t in line to vote, they weren’t voting.
And all that happened ONCE, twenty two years ago
Another Seymour fail
Wrong. Networks called Florida shortly before 8 PM. Voting ends in Florida at 7 PM.But your mistake is thinking that this is only a "Faux News" problem. In 2000, the networks called Florida for Gore when voters were still voting in Florida and they turned out to be wrong. That call could have easily suppressed the vote in the remaining counties, which were full of Bush voters. The mainstream media did the Democrats' bidding then, and they still do. The mainstream media is the chief fomenters of Trump Derangement Syndrome, even more so than Democrat politicians.
One second early is going to suppress the vote? That they called it a second early was an attempt to suppress the vote. Why didn't people in line know it?
But worse was that they called it when Panhandle red counties were still voting AND long before those results came in.
In case you're not aware they called it wrong.
What was the benefit of calling a close race incorrectly any amount of time before polls closed? One second early is going to suppress the vote?
How would that work? Seymour flops again
In the western counties the closeWrong. Networks called Florida shortly before 8 PM. Voting ends in Florida at 7 PM.

Television networks, in major embarrassment, are forced to retract projection made early in evening that gave Vice Pres Al Gore victory over Gov George W Bush in Florida; state, key to victory in tight race, remains too close to call; several networks cite 'problems' in data supplied by Voter...www.nytimes.com
Florida has 2 time zones so voting closed an hour later in the western counties. The remaining voters were disenfranchised by being told that Gore had won already.Wrong. Networks called Florida shortly before 8 PM. Voting ends in Florida at 7 PM.

Who said there was a benefit. It was a mistake. Twenty two years ago that had zero effectWhat was the benefit of calling a close race incorrectly any amount of time before polls closed?
What would that do besides create the false impression that the losing candidate won?
