Gun crime in London increases by 42% - BBC News

Gun crime offences in London surged by 42% in the last year, according to official statistics.

The Met Police's figures showed there were 2,544 gun crime offences from April 2016 to April 2017 compared to 1,793 offences from 2015 until 2016.

Knife crime also increased by 24% with 12,074 recorded offences from 2016 to 2017.

And the police are catching the blame for the 42% gun crime increase in London....

The Met published the figures on Wednesday as Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary highlighted “some areas of serious concern” – drawing attention to several problems faced by Britain’s largest force as its new commissioner, Cressida Dick, takes over.

. No one will ever stop gun violence or guns totally... The only way to deal with it, is to arm, and then support the good citizens and police in society. The gun supply underground will never be defeated, so leveling the playing field is the only counter measures to be taken (stop political correctness). OK, now 1st recognise the do gooder crazies who want to disarm the good folks, and for whom haven't a clue as to how to disarm the bad folks or refuse to disarm the bad folks, and then dethrone the idiots. Has nothing to do with guns and knives really. The increase is due to all the third world "refugees". These animals come from countries where killing and corruption are part of everyday life. To them being a "law-abiding citizen" makes no sense.
