Inexpensive does not equal good. Did you google botched surgery in foreign countries??
Agreed. That is why we need to ensure that every American has access to affordable healthcare in this country
so tell me honestly.. How many? leave out the illegals, the ones who could but choose not to etc. give me an honest number and how much it will cost me.
Don't know. What we do know is that the US pays more for its healthcare than any nation on earth. We do know that the current US healcare system rates poorly compared to other industrialized nations. We do know that 70% of personal bankruptcies are related to medical expenses. We do know that insurance companies, healthcare providers and lawyers make tremendous profits off of healthcare and do not want things to change. We do know that it is cheaper to treat patients in clinics than in emergency rooms, but poor people go to the emergency rooms because they have to treat them.
We also know that employers are providing less and less coverage for their employees. Something has to be done. You may be covered right now, but based on current trends, your coverage may be non-existant in ten years
