Nov 8, 1932: Greatest Day in Progressive History. FDR beats Hoover because Hoover sucked at helping the economy! Woot! Happy Days are Here again! FDR Averages 20% unemployment over the next 7 years, saving the economy! Double Woot!

Nov 8 1942: FDR appeals to Vichy French Leader Petain, "Yo, Stalin's da bomb!"

Nov 8, 1971: CrusaderFrank cuts classes at Adlai Steven HS, Bronx NY and buys just released LedZep IV at EJ Korvetts on Lafayette Ave. Him and his friends would spend the next several days missing classes and listening to the new album

Nov 8 1895: Physicist Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen, 94% chance he was a Democrat, accidentally discovers X-rays by playing with some equipment in his dentists office while loopy on nitrous

Nov 9, 1965. Thinking that the term "inflammable" meant the opposite of "Flammable" a Vietnam War protester accidentally sets himself afire in front of the UN.
