Bush also LIED this country into war for poliktical gain getting thousands of Americans killed (more than in the 911 attack). The guy threw the shoe because Bush got hundereds of thousands of Iraqis killed too. I have to admitt I still think Bush deserves far more than a shoe ducking.

The dumbest president we have ever had lied and all the democrats believed him, you know what that means, all the democrats are dumber the dumbest president.

It even took years for the dumb democrats to figure this out, talk about democrats being morons, lied to by the dumbest president who cannot even speak good english. Why would anyone vote for democrats being that they are that stupid, could it be those who voted democrat are dumber than the dummies who believed a lie by the dumbest president ever who cannot even speak good english.

Can you point out to me the lies on MSNBC?

Im well aware of the lies of Fox but I would be very gratefull for proof of lies on MSNBC.

Well MSNBC reported a violent and hate-filled teaparty in my hometown a few months back... They used bits and pieces from one of their local NBC affiliates reports... they characterized it as a hateful and near riot where police were called. Even the local report wasn't anything like that when it was aired here originally.

The only funny thing was the teaparty was just a 3 minute walk from my house, and there was nothing like that at all. Matter of fact the only Cop there was not a cop at all but the fairgrounds security guy who is always there every time they are open. Incidentally he is a 70 year old retiree.

The only reason I knew anything was going on at all concerning a teaparty, was because there was an antiques show going on at the same time I went to.... I was there for almost 2 hours and all that I heard was a couple old men getting up and talking about their disagreement with the path the country was on regarding health care and a few things against socialism and that sort of thing.

There was no threats, no name calling, no racial slurs or any such nonsense they reported.

Now maybe that wasn't an outright lie but it wasn't the complete truth either and it definitely was misleading...

I think yuou are telling me how you really saw it but I'm affraid on the internets people tell stories all the time. Could you maybe direct me to the MSNBCs reporting on it. and the local reporting on it?

I really like Proof of what is claimed.

I dont think msnbc lies from what I have watched of it. Yes they come from a left prospective on many of the shows but in contrast FOX actually lies and even went to court to win that right.

Isn't any bias when they claim there is none a lie in effect? I mean if they say "fair and balanced" yet their reporting leans decidedly to the right, OR they say claim to be unbiased and yet their reporting leans to the left aren't they both in effect lying at least on premise?

The reporting of that event was months ago, around September perhaps. Not sure anymore its been a while. The report was out of Ohio, please forgive me if I refrain from being more specific here, this is a public forum and it does speak of where I live so I prefer not to give too much out here just yet. Maybe when I am more familiar with people here...

And the internet isn't where I got the report it was on MSNBC that evening. My kids and I had a good laugh about it.

OK , its clear they are not going to denounce the violence.

They will say its our fault for .....well......electing the people they dont like.

Now its up to the sane people in this country to deside HOW we will deal in a country with their escalating violence and hate.

I suggest we stand tall and never allow ourselves to fear them.

Yeah. we are calling for nonviolence and condemning violence on both sides because we wont denounce the violence.

Why is it when Muslim extremists kill 3000 people in an act of terror we have to try to understand them and figure out what evil we've perpetrated against them so we can change and stop the violence, but when there are alleged acts of violence against your politicians they dont have to try to understand the people "attacking them" so that your leaders can change and stop the evil they are forcing on the people?

Fox is trying to tell the world what's going on. That's generally what a news station does.

He also went on the House floor and delivered a scathing rebuke to the perps. It's part of the official record.

The few isolated incidents of violence from the right are flashed prominently in headlines and lead the evening television news. Both the right and left denounce such violence and call for it to cease--the left of course blames the right for inciting it.

Justin Binik-Thomas emails from Cincinnati that Rep. Driehaus’ office “is on the 30th floor of a skyscraper downtown.” He also says that he spoke to Driehaus’ office today and they said this never happened. Which is too bad, in a way, as the Reds could use a guy with an arm like that . . . .

The Seattle Times should run a correction.

. . . .Josh Marshall and the Democrats have descended into rubber and glue political commentary flat out blaming the Republicans for inciting violence, much of it fabricated and ignoring the Democrats’ own rhetoric and violence.

First of all, I would point out that it was the Democrats who just took over 1/6th of the American economy despite upwards of 56% of the American public being opposed. And they expect people to . . . what . . . clap?

As I said earlier today, violence is unacceptable, but none of us should be surprised — especially the left, which feeds off riots, protest, and molotov cocktail parties every time they strongly oppose something. The Weather Underground was not a Republican insurgency at the Weather Channel.

Let’s break this down:

“No one who is even remotely honest can pretend that anything about this is bipartisan in character.”

Well, actually, if we go back to the August townhalls, 7 out of 10 violent acts were by Democrat supporters. And now? Police say the bullet that hit Eric Cantor’s office was most likely random, but it is not definitive. What about the threats his office has gotten in the past week? What about the threats Congresswoman Schmidt received or the other Republicans?

But there is much, much more to pick apart.

We’re not the ones stirring the pot of socialism taking over the private sector. The Democrats are. We’ve just been pointing out the facts that Marshall and the Democrats find so inconvenient including, yes, the so called “death panels”.

When Josh Marshall says this what he means is that his sympathetic allies in the media will spend more time covering scurrilous accusations about violence on Democrats than they’ve ever devoted to people burning down Sarah Palin’s church or the Texas Governor’s Mansion or the violence inflicted by leftists during free trade meetings, or the death threats against Republicans during the Bush years, etc.

“Cantor’s behavior is shameful beyond imagining.”

What, you mean pointing out that his office took a bullet and he’s been receiving threats this week but he’s not going to cry about it like the Democrats have been? He masterfully took an ace out of your card deck by demonstrably showing it is not GOP nuts attacking Dems. Josh, you are upset at Cantor because he just killed the precious narrative you have been trying to build.

Oh, and how about the media’s shameful behavior, Josh? See here just one of many examples.

You mean, for the Democrats right? After all, had the Democrats not done what they did none of this would be happening. They made ridiculous promises and are now attacking anyone who expects to use those promises as measures of accountability for the success of Obamacare. They fabricated stories of violence and racial epithets. They refused to meet with voters. Their leadership coerced swing district Democrats to vote against the very real interests and desires of their constituents. Then they tried to paint the opponents as racists, thugs, and now inciters of violence against their new socialist nirvana. Oh, and let’s not forget Alan Grayson on the floor of the House saying the GOP wants people to die, along with all the other Democrats accusing the GOP of wanting people to die or be without health care. . . .


. . . .I.f telling the truth about the take over of 1/6th of the American economy is “incitement,” then so be it. Republicans did not just pass a major piece of legislation in defiance of over 56% of the American public consciously refusing to first let legislators meet with constituents lest they change their mind.

To quote Billy Joel, “We didn’t start the fire.” The Democrats are crying foul now trying to change the subject away from what they just did. And to do it, they are falling back on old Democrat standby narratives the media readily consumes — racists and angry white men. . . .

Again, nobody is condoning violence or promoting
violence.

Tea Partiers and those who admire them are not throwing bricks. Which leaves us to wonder who is? Who has the most to gain from bricks being thrown?

But honestly, even if some over zealous kids did throw some bricks for the 'right' reasons, do the Democrats honestly think any of this even approximates the stuff that has been done in their name and on their watch?

Two wrongs don't make a right and only snot nosed school kids would presume to justify bad acts because somebody else did bad acts. But hypocrisy sure isn't limited to those on the right.
