They have lost their fucking minds, full stop period.

What can Congress do to create jobs? Five Republican proposals. - REINS Act - CSMonitor.com

1. REINS Act
The signature jobs initiative for Republicans when Congress returns in September is an attempt to pass the REINS Act (Regulation from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny).

The REINS Act would require Congress to approve every major new regulation proposed by the White House before it takes effect. If Congress does not act within 70 days, the rule is void.

This would severely limit the power of the executive branch, since no regulations – such as the Environmental Protection Agency's regulation of greenhouse gases – could become effective without approval from both houses of Congress, a high bar. In this way, congressional Republicans are seeking to bring back to Congress the regulatory powers that have gradually devolved to the executive branch during the past 50 years.

Sponsors include Rep. Geoff Davis (R) of Kentucky and Sen. Rand Paul (R) of Kentucky. The bill is endorsed by business groups, including the US Chamber of Commerce, which is launching a summer regulation road show to boost public support.

Pointless showboating. They're wasting time. It would never pass the Senate, it would be vetoed, and it doesn't even sound constitutional.

No shit, Sarge.

And i'm sure he was bitching his ass off while his father probably afforded him a very comfortable life, while being overpayed.

And then, he calls me a "thief", but his father was just "overpayed".

Something tells me he wouldn't call his father a thief to his face, 'cause of the risk of having the gravy train derailed.

And now I do believe he wants us to believe he was some special agent type for Blackwater...........

LOL This is too funny...................

Hey idiot, I'm an Electrical Engineer. Your military experience should tell you that the military puts VERY HIGH VALUE on people like me. Especially ones that they can get to work at remote places overseas.

Nope. I wasn't a special agent type for blackwater. I was more the guy that the special agents from forgien countries would have liked to kill.

That's why I had quite a few grunts watching my behind. (As you know they weren't there to protect me).

People what you presume to think you are would never mention anything like what you posted. I am going to have call BULLSHIT.

YOUR IP ADDRESS ISN'T THAT SECURE AND YOU CAN BE FOUND So just keep talking and give your location away to those people who say
"I was more the guy that the special agents from forgien countries would have liked to kill." can find you and kill you. That is if you're telling the truth.

So here we have a person who talks like a socialist on welfare yet wants us to believe he did business with Congressmen and only the upper echelon of the military. He believes that all business men and employers cheat they're workers and believes that all workers should get a share of the profit because businesses are not a risk.

Oh and wants us to believe that his own father was a big shot executive on Wall Street who was over payed.

Is this clown for real?

I said many I nasty thing to my father - none of which I regret. My father was a wealthy man, but that never meant that I was. And yes, he took it with him.

As far as my upbringing - my father treated me like one of his soldiers - anything but spoiled. (Note: he was a Sargent in Patton's army and not prone to coddling)

He would not let me starve - but that's about it.

I am and always have been a free civilian and will say anything I like as long as it doesn't violate the Industrial Security code, of which I am still subject.

Shit, this was all back in the late 1980s that I worked this job. I doubt that anybody gives a shit about it now. The technology that I worked on is obsolete nowadays.

BTW - that is a very old picture in my avatar.

It has nothing to do with freedom of speech stupid, if you say you did the type of job that special agent's would have wanted to kill you don't you think they are still looking for you? Thats why I said your IP address is not that secure you should know this if you are whom you say you are. You never would talk about it on an open forum that can be traced.

BTW - I work as a network engineer nowadays, so I'm really not worried about anyone finding me thru the internet.

So ya'all don't believe that the U.S. miltary has a high value on E.E.s or that they have lots of E.E.s doing all sorts of work overseas.

Ya'all don't know too much 'bout the U.S. military. Perhaps a grunt's point of view only.

Geez, I'd better not mention my (kinda) step brother...ya'all would believe who he is...or my uncle....

I come from a long line of military engineers.

What a fucking joke.

It's kind of odd that you think of yourself as being a patriot.

You should really read up on the philosophies of the founding fathers. In particular Thomas Paine. It seems to me that first you should understand America before you declare your patriotism.

You seem to believe more in the philosophies of the european conservatives, than in American philosophy.

BTW, I did not do business with the military or congress. I worked for a contractor that did.

One of those small overseas operations that has civilians working in somewhat military roles...I'm sure your familiar with that type of operation...just about everyone else is.

Or maybe an SFC doesn't mix with that sort of company.

It's kind of odd that you think of yourself as being a patriot.

hold on their asshat Ollies patriotism has never once been in questioned I suggest you put on a uniform and kiss his ass.

Neither was John Walker's or Aldridge Ames'.

What's wrong with letting the elected reps of the people review edicts put forth by King Obama?

Sounds like you're the unhinged one.

Yea, those people have to PAY to even ask their elected reps a question. Republicans too afraid to talk to those who elected them. What does that tell you?

Why not? I know what I can say and what I can't. Nothing that I've said is restricted.

BTW, my name was well known and if there was anyone looking to kill me (outside of wingnuts on this forum), they could easily find me.

The only one that I have any worries about is a certain anarchist that lives up in Vermont. He's a seriously mentally disturbed person.

Otherwise, I'm not really worried about cold war grudges.

You know, the unique thing about America, the thing that truly makes America great is that it was the first (and probably only) country founded by philosophers. What America REALLY is is a set of PHILOSOPHIES, not a country, not a landmass, not a government.

Until you understand those philosophies you cannot understand America.

Unfortunately, those philosophies have been all but forgotten by too many American becuase thay were saturated with the philosophy of EUROPEAN CONSERVATIVES during the cold war.

America IS NOT A CAPITALIST COUNTRY. It IS a country based on democracy and respect for the dignity of the individual. Governments purpose is to protect that democracy and to protect the dignity of the individual. When capitalism denies those, then it's the gobernment's responsibility to protect the individuals from capitalism.

That is all but forgotten by the wingnuts.

Welcome to America! We have freedom of speech here. One of the reasons that I worked where I did.

Ah c'mon, you just can't stomach the fact that a liberal had that sort of job.

Suppose it would shock you to know that one of my co worker was a junky...learned the true meaning of the phrase 'soldier's disease'.

CIA World Factbook: Life expectancy at birth (2011)

Life expectancy at birth is also a measure of overall quality of life in a country and summarizes the mortality at all ages. It can also be thought of as indicating the potential return on investment in human capital
and is necessary for the calculation of various actuarial measures.

In 1950, the US ranked 5th in the world for average life expectancy at birth - by 2011 it had slipped to 50th.

All 10 of the states with the lowest life expectancies in America vote Republican.

The sponsors of the REINS ACTS include Rep. Geoff Davis (R) and Sen. Rand Paul (R) both from Kentucky.

With all due respect to our Republican "friends," if I represented an America state whose average life expectancy ranked between 86th (Lithuania) and 87th (Tonga) in the world, healthcare and not REINS would be my number 1 priority!
