A little girl from Honduras stares into the camera, her young features contorted in anguish. She’s barefoot, dusty and clad only in a diaper and T-shirt. And she’s just had to run from clouds of choking tear gas fired across the border by U.S. agents. A second photograph, which also circulated widely and rapidly on social media, shows an equally anguished woman frantically trying to drag the same child and a second toddler away from the gas as it spread.

The three were part of a much larger group, perhaps 70 or 80 people,..... pictured in a wider angle image fleeing the tear gas. Reuters photographer Kim Kyung-Hoon shot the photos, which provoked outrage and seemed at odds with President Trump’s portrayal of the caravan migrants as “criminals” and “gang members.”

Trump officials said that authorities had to respond with force after hundreds of migrants rushed the border near Tijuana on Sunday, some of them throwing “projectiles” at Customs and Border Protection personnel.

Chaos erupted Sunday around the bustling San Ysidro border crossing, which Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said was closed “to ensure public safety in response to large numbers of migrants seeking to enter the U.S. illegally.”

But Democratic leaders, human rights advocates and others focused on the images of the two children in particular. Many pointed to the children left gagging from the gas attack as evidence that Trump’s push against a caravan of asylum seekers from Central America had gone too far.

“Shooting tear gas at children is not who we are as Americans,” Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, tweeted. “Seeking asylum is not a crime. We must be better than this.”

The WaPost is lying to us. And this woman gets the Bad Mother of the Year Award for taking her kids to a violent attempt to crash the border. If she's really their mother, and not a human trafficker. Up

From Reddit/The_Donald:

a line of Mexican federal police blocked the overpass to the San Ysidro port of entry. Chief of federal police in Baja California said their goal was to maintain order but the caravan became violent, pushing & throwing rocks. Do not let MSM fool you, they are violent

All countries control their border crossings and immigration.
The Corrupt Democratic Party's open borders goal is to displace Anglo Voters.
The Left Wingers are racist as hell.
They do not accept that America is a sovereign country.

This is really cultural aggression.

if you're barefoot and in diapers, walking across the length of mexico may have been a bad idea.

This is all manufactured by globalists to push their anti-American Agenda. That mother should be charged with child endangerment.

if you are going to use the poor conditions of your children for not being allowed 100 feet further, you likely should have thought of those kids when you were what, 2800+ miles give or take, away?

The people in the pictures were not targeted with tear gas. The tear gas was fired at a small group who were trying to break through the wire fence and the wind carried it to larger groups of people who were peacefully demonstrated. The Border Patrol and local police acted properly by using tear gas as a first step to prevent our border from being breached. The problem was created by the failure of the Mexican government to adequately control its side of the border, and if this continues, the President should make good on his warning to close the border permanently, or at least until the Mexican government begins to behave responsibly.

I hate to break it to you, but Mexico is in the middle of a hostile and violent drug war and thanks to Democrats, it's spilling over into the US.
