Chicago
Not to mention no team will offer a better trade than Chicago. Exam the teams:

Chicago Bulls: Offer Noah, Deng and Brewer for Howard and Turk. Howard gets to play the prime of his career with the best PG in the NBA and next to a solid big man next to him. Not to mention the Bulls are set to sign Caron Bulter.

NJ: First, Lopez isn't worth a Noah and the Nets have no one else to offer. Second, with Williams already saying he is leaving, Howard would go to a rebuilding situation. Not what he wants.

NY: First, they don't have the assets to make a trade. Nothing else matter after that.

LAL: Gasol and Odom are on the wrong side of 30. While both are better than Deng and Noah, they are both older and not players to build around at there age. Noah and Deng are more trade attractive to Orlando. Second, Kobe he 10 fold better than Rose will ever be, but he is 33. Howard won't get to play with Kobe for too long. Playing along side a young Rose should look more attractive to him.

In the end, the best situation is Chicago:
(1) Chicago can make the best deal to Orlando in Deng and Noah.
(2) Howard gets the best running mate in Rose that he could get anywhere and both are young and in there prime. They will be competing for championships for the next decade.
(3) Big Market in Chicago, means more money and more endorsements.
(4) One of the top cities in the world and the best fans in basketball
(5) With Howard they are a TOP Contender for years to come

PG: Rose/Whoever
SG: Richardson (Bulls will sign JR or Bulter)/Korver/Bogan
SF: Turk./Korver
PF: Bozer/Gibson
C: Howard/Asik

That team would be a powerhouse.

Why give up anything if you're Chicago? Obama could just send the military into Orlando to transport Howard to Chicago and if anyone in Orlando has a problem with it they can be detained at Gitmo.

But other than an Obama intervention, Howard ain't going to Chicago. The guy wants to be in LA and the Lakers can offer a pretty compelling package (Bynum + Odom) PLUS take Hedo's bloated contract off Orlando's books.

If Howard wants to win than yes Chicago is probably the best bet but its looking like he will be with the Lakers. Has Chicago even made an offer for him yet?

First the NBA dropped the hammer on the CP3 trade and now it looks like the Lakers might miss out on Howard as well lol

Dwight Howard will ask the Orlando Magic to trade him to the New Jersey Nets, and a deal could go down as soon as Friday, sources close to the situation said.

Howard's representatives have already told the Nets that they are his preferred destination.

When Howard speaks to the Magic, he will tell them that he will not re-sign with the team after this season, sources said. There is also a chance that Howard will not attend the opening of training camp Friday, according to a source.

As ESPN.com reported last week, the Nets are ready to offer the Magic a package built around center Brook Lopez and two first-round draft picks, New Jersey's own and one the Nets acquired from Houston in a previous trade, according to sources.

New Jersey is also willing to take back Hedo Turkoglu and the three years, $34 million remaining on his deal.
