The winner is the Tea Party- Put Focus back on Debt not Obama's spending

The Tea Party that’s the real winner in all of this because it has managed to focus the debate in Washington on the debt and it makes Obama’s investment talk sound like it’s from the Jurassic era.

Considering how much Papa Obama's spending has failed
to produce the results claimed by some in his administration,
the Left, oddly, demands more of the same

It was a win because so far they stood up on a huge issue and later it might get more elected.

Again, it's all of us that loose because Dems and Reps (Obama/Bush) don't give two shits about the country. If the US falls apart not many people in congress would end up middle class or poor, they will still be rich here or somewhere else. Politics for most policians is about how to best make laws that support their welth.

Agree

Gov't has an addiction to spending and needs a good intervention to stop it
It is fueled by most politicians to keep the statism of crony capitalism going that
they helped to create.

This should be called the "ransom crisis," not "debt crisis," and the deal referred to as an agreement over ransom to be paid.

Ransom? It's your liberal base that controls two houses of the legislative branch. Of course they couldn't even get democrats to vote for their bills.

Cry me a river--:lol::lol:

Democrats voted for their bills. It is your House leader, and I use that term loosley, who can't negotiate without running back to the teaparty for his orders..

That's one of the fastest history rewrites IN history.

Already we're supposed to forget that the Tea Party opposed raising the debt ceiling,

period....????

Funny. It never ends...

And that is different from Bush in what way? Remember his rebate stimulus and he screamed for TARP to pass.
McCain would have done the same.

Whaaaa?????

There are only 2 houses in the legislature. Republicans control the House.

Will Republicans run on "jobs jobs jobs"? Again?

Once Obama gets into his campaign, it doesn't really matter what they run on. They've already given him so much material to work with.

I know they're trying to spin it it in the opposite direction, but media and governments from Australia to the UK and everywhere in between saw who was holding us hostage. They watched as Obama broke open his piggy bank and held out SS, Medicare and Medicaid with both hands and said take it all, and the Teat Party said "Oh fuck you very much, but no thank you. We can't possibly give an inch. We signed a mother fucking pledge."

America knows, and America will remember who was behind the wheel when we almost went over the cliff. And it's not over yet.
