The US has spent nearly $6,000,000,000,000 on wars that have killed over 500,000 people.

$6 trillion up in smoke, but we can't afford fast trains or tuition-free college and decent health care. Hell we can't even maintain our bridges and roads.

..the US helps the world the MOST--including
hundreds or THOUSANDS of immigrants/visas/etc per year
providing carriers/etc for natural disaster help
remittance
etc etc etc

Too much shit happens without my approval.
Americans by and large have no clue what our CIA black ops are up to at any given time, until a few of us see the redacted files 25 years later, if ever. Panama, Chile, Afghanistan in the 70's...the list goes on for fucking ever.
..I agree, we put our noses in too many stupid problems
..but this doesn't mean the US is an evil country

you wouldn't here a peep out of em for 100 years after just two or three bombs

Start here when its JAMMED pack

This chart displays the number of terrorist attacks worldwide in the Global Terrorism Database each year from 1989 to 2014. The graphic indicates that global terrorist attacks rose dramatically after 2004: There were just over 1,000 in 2004, but almost 17,000 in 2014. The numbers from 2015 and 2016 (not shown) have remained remarkably high, but below the 2014 peak.

Um...yeah. That’s kind of the point. Their operations wouldn’t be too effective if they publicly announced them in advance. :eusa_doh:

1. What’s with the propaganda? You start a thread about the United States and then attempt to back up your position with statistics from global metrics. How many successful terrorist attacks on U.S. soil? If you’re going to make statements about the U.S., your statistics need to be about the U.S.

2. Terrorism was always going to go up, genius. Just as traditional military combat has gone down. It’s the simple reality of a shift in tactics. How many people can purchase a tank and a nuclear warhead? Almost 0. But anybody can engage in terrorism.

3. Correlation does not equal causation. There isn’t an ounce of data that even hints at U.S. policy being the cause of the increase in terrorism (see #2 above).

So you're going on record that you were and still are in favor of the invasion of Iraq?
Unquestionably one of the best thing the United States has ever done. Saddam Hussein was a maniac and should have been removed decades earlier.

I don't care if he tortured puppies, removing him was one of the biggest mistakes this country ever made. Name 1 benefit to the American people that resulted from that war.
