We never worried about who shot number whatever out of how many. We weren't damn cowboys after all. I qualified expert everytime I shot the the damn thing except for the first qualification in basic, I qualified sharpshooter the first go 'round...I qualified expert everytime on the M-4.

I bounced back and forth between Sharpshooter and expert. And never once do I remember having anyone say they were the best shot or that they were number whatever. Simply didn't keep lists like that if it were even possible.

Shot a 8 point buck from 3 ft. with a .303. again one shot... between the eyes.
It ain't the shot sherlock ..it's the stalk...and a steady hand. Hid under a big log he was about to jump over..first hour of hunting season..game over!
