The two Voyager spacecrafts - 40 years later . . .

The very people that the treasonous fat senile old orange clown and his Trumpanzees claim can never get anything right. LOL

NASA has every right to be very proud. Many of it's projects are operating very far beyond the projected lifespans. And the luddites just keep trying to remove the money that we use to capture that data that they are sending back. One has to wonder what the hell these bucktoothed morons are thinking.

Yeah, you just had to smear your political hate-feces on a science thread, you obsessed Trump-stalker coot whose life is based on looking down your nose at everyone else. It was your little tin god Obama who gutted NASA worse than anyone. You're just an evil, malignant creature with a wasp nest where your brain should be.

Hey, little cocksuck, the treasonous fat senile old orange clown is trying to defund science at all levels, and trying to do the same for education. But then, we can see why you support the orange clown.

We lost 8 years from Obama turning NASA into part of the AGW scam and making all satellites point to Mecca 5 times a day

Take your meds

Can we PLEASE leave politics out of this?
Here’s what fascinates me. So voyagers have both seen our amazing solar system and that’s great but this science show was explaining what they have to deal with getting out of our suns gravitational pull. Beyond the Ort cloud. Radiation will be high until they clear it but then they truly out there in the universe. Interstellar. They are there now yes?

My god how empty dark and quiet it will be for those voyagers. At least 80,000 years they won’t see a planet moon meteor or comit. Nothing just deep dark space. You in a little sailboat on the ocean is a thousand times better off than they are.

We don’t realize how far the nearest star is to us. Not 10 lifetimes but 200 generations away.

Unless we can go faster someday. Still glad they are out there

Republicans believe science is a faith.

I guess that means we can only hope they are up there.

This is an excellent thread!

After the voyager, the next step could be, to send out life support systems with people in them, for very long haul journeys, like the Voyagers are doing. This would allow the study of human adaptation to deep space, both biologically and socially.

Why would you CONDEMN a human being to an eternity in cold dark space, never to experience the ONLY known place with sun, trees, grass, singing birds and all the beauty this world has to offer? Man can be unimaginably cruel to others.
