CDZ The Switch to Internet Pick up Point

Target and Wal-Mart reported recently that acting as a pick up point for their own websites increased sales or at least reduced lost sales and reduced delivery costs. Even more recently major shippers are changing their price schedules as a result of internet deliveries to households running up costs.

The reason I bring this up today is that I found myself going over to Scottrade today not because I am all that upset with my current broker but rather the greater ease of resolving screw ups face to face. I am wondering how these trends will change the internet.
