For those on the board who are interested in Christian history, I would recommend that you read The Search for the Twelve Apostles by William Steuart McBirnie, Ph.D. If you’ve ever wondered exactly what happened to each of the twelve apostles following the death and resurrection of Jesus, this book will give you the answers, including the way that each of them died a martyr's death. The book appears to be very well researched, with source materials drawn a lot from ancient historians, such as Josephus, Eusebius, Jerome, Clement, etc. Interesting read—well worth the time.
