Bonghwa clinic, reserved for the highest and the most powerful members of the North Korean ruling party, has had a major renovation recently. This place has ER, surgery facilities, and research facilities all equipped well, with personnels educated in Pyongyang Med School and Kim Il-Sung University, and is provided with the latest and best equipment, medicine, food, and electricity.
But regular clinics in North Korea is so ill-equipped that 30% of all clinics do not even have the most basic medicine, that citizens have to travel hours to get treatment for simple cold or bruises. Even the ones with the proper equipments cannot operate them anymore because they are so obsolete and old.
Like this, North Korean government is putting the citizens on the front line to get sympathy and aid from foreign governments. But none of the aids go to the citizens, they only go to the most powerful for them to enjoy their luxurious lifestyle.
They're using even the pain and suffering of their own people to feed their need for luxury. How does anybody just stand by and watch it happen?
